So I dont know if I just came in at a coincidental time, but when I went in, there were no angry people chewing out their employees as the previous reviews indicated. So, Im an avid thrift-store goer, this wasnt your typical thrift-store experience. Im not going to say that thats better or worse... just... dont expect it. Its pretty small, and I spotted like 6 or 7 very neat white mildly-decorated teasets right off the bat, and that was pretty much the flavor of the store. The price range for everything was between $8-$22, with the average being the medium of that. But, the stuff was nice stuff, so for the neighborhood you might consider it reasonable. I wouldnt go in there for a T-shirt; Everything was sort of Business-casual. Even the jeans were decorated and preppy and nice. Normally, when I go into thrift-stores, I look for boots, costume-jewelry, and long jackets. These items were not within it at all. Instead, there were nice blouses, nice high-heals, and nice stuff. The selection was small, but all the stuff was nice. In the end I came out with a very formal pink dress for $22 buckies that I was pretty happy with, but even most of the other dresses werent particularly fancy. I found it about average for my tastes since I generally like more costumey-stuff, but the quality fit the high-end neighborhood it was in. Hope this was helpful!

This is the nicest thrift shop! My original reason for going was to donate, but I found that it is a place with wonderful treasures! I have purchased some beautiful items there! Take your time to look everywhere when you go in. There are unique, useful, pretty, and even collectible items throughout the store. They have home décor, clothing, accessories, jewelry, shoes, kitchen items, stemware, crystal, art, furniture, etcetera. The store is staffed predominantly with volunteers and all of the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Its a great way to shop and know that you are doing something good for the world at least two times over--once by reusing something and twice by helping others!

Upscale, and by that I mean snooty but polite folks at the counter. This is one of the few thrift shops I have been to that I felt underdressed to shop in. Prices matched the attitude, "overmuch" and high. There was a definite difference in how they treated folks, I watched it a couple of times. Not sure why, all the money spends the same, and it is going for a good cause. Loose the attitude, even if you are a volunteer, it is damaging the shops reputation. This would have been a 4 star without the attitude. I can go see family for an attitude refill.

I read all of the reviews before I went to the shop...found the pricing to be reasonable, if not very low. One of the volunteers told me that they had just recently lowered prices. It shows. But wow. The manager. What a piece of work. Right in front of customers she talks down to the volunteer staff, never greets customers, just sort of waltzes through the store with a sour look on her face. Let me know when Jacqui has a day off is...that is when I will be back. Guess they do not read the reviews at ACS. Too bad.

THRIFT STORES SHOULD NOT BE UPSCALE. THE WELL TO DO PEOPLE ARE AT SOUTH COAST PLAZA AND NOT AT ACS STORES. I KNOW IT IS FOR A GOOD CAUSE, BUT, I CAN BUY A NEW BLOUSE FOR $20 AT KOHLS. THE STAFF OF OLDER WOMEN ARE SNOOTY AND STARED AT ME THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE. AND, YES, THERE WAS AN ORANGE WORK SUIT JACKET, BUT, I FELT THAT IT WAS PRICED TO HIGH AND THE STAFF WAS TO UNFRIENDLY ... I WILL NOT GO THERE OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE IN THE FUTURE.

I found this store to be high in there pricing and I think the manager is very mean to the ladies who work there Ive been there more then once were jacki was calling out one of the girls in front on customer I left after the last time and I will not return there because of it I think someone in the main office should come down and talk to the people who do work there and actually see what is going on

Nice and clean. Merchandises are catered more to the mature crowd. But if you go often, you can find some decent items for major discount prices. A lot of the items still have original price tags on. Furnitures are a more on the pricier side.

The shop was remodeled this summer and it is absolutely beautiful. The people there are all so sweet and kind. Its very welcoming and lots of varieties. Visit the store and it will exceed your expectations. :D

comically terrible service from pathetic Orange County housewives. The worst is the manager; a stuck up Asian woman. Prices absolutely do not reflect quality and Id never recommend this store to anyone.
