I liked going to this autozone because its close to our house. After the events of today I will never spend a dime in an autozone again. Their know it all smartness of a manager there needs to learn not to talk down to people for asking a question. I am not from california I am not familiar with its rules or regulations when it comes to checking a check engine light. So when I ask if they can perform this task for me like I have had done several other times in other states a simple no we cannot its against the law will suffice. Dont talk to me like I am dumb for asking. I work on blackhawks I am pretty sure I am smart enough to understand basic mechanical answers and questions. so smart guy behind the counter if youre so smart why are you working a register? My advice to locals head into town and go to orileys auto they are very helpful and respectful!

I just had a very bad experience at the Store located in 120 Leucadia Blvd Encinitas, CA 92024, I needed a new battery for my car and I called them to see if they had it and all of the sudden the guy started laughing and told to the other person next to him oh she is Mexican. I can be what ever I am (by the way Im not Mexican), but is unacceptable when I needed help to fix my car to be treated this way, Ive used your company for many year now, I use it for everything my car needs and being treated this way it really sucks, more when I needed the help and I was going to pay for the service. I decided to use the Autozone located 195 N Rancho Santa Fe Rd San Marco, CA 92069 where I got the service that I needed. (I BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY) THE NAME OF THE MANAGER IS STEPHEN AND HE WAS WORKING AT THE TIME

They try, they really do. But they dont seem to really know that much about cars. Sometimes I get the right part, sometimes not. Sometimes if I dont know what parts I need, they dont list them all, so they seem like the cheapest, but then I have to go and spend more to get the job done. The brake master cylinder they sold me at this location turned out to have the wrong mounting bolt spacing and I couldnt attach it. Autozone is trying, but it isnt really good at the moment. Its acceptable for simple, obvious things like headlights, turn signals, etc. For anything complicated, I recommend Advance Auto Parts if its in your area; PepBoys if not (DO NOT get the PepBoys discount card, they sell your email address and you get SPAMMED.) Avoid OReillys unless NOBODY else has the parts you need.

Went to this store tonight to replace a battery that was still under warrenty. I was helped by a young man that replaced it in my car he was a exceptional. The manager asked him oh are you going to install it? He said yes i said its still under warranty why wouldnt he? His responds you didnt pay anything for it so its really a courtesy we do? Really jerk? I paid 136.00 for that battery that only lasted 14 mouths. I took time out of my day to drive 20 minutes to replace a crappy battery that your company sold me that didnt even last a year and a half. I still have a warranty on this battery but will never buy anything from this company again.

The store is amazing simply because of its service. Everyone there is knowledgeable and willing to help out with anything and everything Ive ever had an issue with; this includes phone service or in person. This is a small store, but Ive always been able to get the items Ive needed. I use this store exclusively for parts / vehicle supplies. I would suggest calling ahead. If they dont have it in stock, they can get it within a few hours. Ive stopped looking around for better prices, every time I do AutoZone comes out on top.

I needed a license plate bulb, as a police officer pointed out last night, complete with flashing lights that got my attention. He was super nice but firm that I fix it. Who ever notices that tiny bulb but it is important. So Bryan at this Autozone was sooooo helpful. Not only did he show me how to install the bulb but he actually just did it for me. Thanks Bryan!

Poorly stocked, most of staff are friendly and helpful with exception of one manager, who appears to be an orc. Buying car parts here is like buying milk at a gas station: only if you really need it.
