Dont expect to get much in return...when you sell your dvds, books, cds or magazines. Everytime i think it will atleast be 3$ or something more, of the stuff i give. The most they can give me is 1$...just 1$!. Thats shady and seems like a rip off,idk. Also i dont really like their service and that is why i dont feel comfortable going there(being im anti-social and all)...i just felt they were judgy...which is no surprise(with the way i am...people are bound to judge my abnormality). Smh. Either way...if i feel like selling my crap, having to walk all the way over there...then so be it. Ill take that 1$ and just get me a bag chips or something..lol. Btw i hate going there...i just need extra cash(which isnt even extra anyways!)..so i will still see this place as an option to sell my stuff that i dont want. So thats the only plus side to this. Also they dont have much cds or dvds..just junk ones. :P

Ive only ever bought books here so this review will not include information on selling used books to this company. This place is a lot bigger than it looks from the road. If youve never been in one the premise is simple.... all used books are half the price of the original cost unless marked differently. The have a good mix of books here, the selection is one of the better Ive seen in a used bookstore. If you need help the staff is friendly and they can even check to see if another location has a book you want and will have it sent! Due to people selling their used books pretty much daily keep checking back for new things.

Store just opened in June of this year. The selection is HUGE; we spent an hour there and will need to return to see the other half of the store. They have new and used for all ages and are a great place for Christmas shopping. I got a Star Wars paper model with lights and sound for $12.50 and an origami set for $7. So you can see they stock more than books, and all at great prices. Store is incredibly well organized, even in childrens books that are sorted by age, genre, series and author. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Excellent source for old books, out of print and discounted newer books. Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The store layout is similar to that of other book stores so even without help its relatively easy to find exactly what youre looking for! Latest gem Ive found was a leather bound second edition Edgar Allan Poe. Prices cant be beat honestly. If youre a bookworm or enjoy finding old books, come here!

Half Price books with cash you out for any used books no longer needed, they will also buy electronics like old tablets, phones and any DVD movies you may be tired of watching. Even board games the family no longer plays. "Any kind of entertainment related items are accepted" *no limit as to how much or how frequent the visits may be to sell your used stuff.

This place is great! Their selection of books covers a wide range, from non-fiction and classics to todays bestsellers (which are 20% off)! They also have CDs, DVDs, and stationary, making HPB a one-stop shop for any book lover! Basically, this is a cooler, much cheaper version of Barnes and Noble. You should definitely check it out.

A great little used book store. Lots to choose from and a great selection. Most of the books are in pretty good condition. They also buy books if needed. I stop buy and check this place out every couple of weeks since they have a rotating inventory. Something new every time I go.

Great selection of books, in better condition than many other used book stores. They also have lots of records (remember records?). Bookish folks hang out here, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood.

These guys usually have a lot of good stuff and are worth a stop when I am town. The used game section is my favorite and my wife likes the records. Unfortunately the games dont tend to rotate to often but I have found a few gems here.

I actually really like this place. Its like barnes and noble but cheaper. Its clean, organized (VERY organized) and all the staff are always friendly every time i go there. I never get any attitude from them, which is nice.

Amazing selection of books at great prices and you can sell them your books and use it to buy more books from them. Its really small in this store but its well worth it if you can find your way around the isle ways.

We dont live close by and got extra books in case we needed them and got scrood. Do not believe their buy books back policy, it is a scam we spend $150 and 3 days later had to return it, they offer us $7 only.

Technological Disobedience

Nice deals, all the dvds have the original content, one time i opened an anime and there was a small comic and a patch for your clothes and some stickers! Blew my mind that this dollar dvd store had everything

There prices for tv series can be better . They sell series like complete mash for 125 when thats what its going every where else so thats not half price ..
