Went to buy a pair of sport shoes there on a Sunday. They were being sold for $10. I needed a size 6; but only had a 6.5. Bought two pair, they didnt fit. Brought them back in 10 minutes flat. The size 6 had one missing. Lady said come back tomorrow. Called back and they found the other shoe. I said Ill be there in one hour. The owner was there and she says the shoes are $30. I said, how can that be, they were $10 yesterday. She says, well, Im the owner and whoever said that is wrong. I showed her my voided check that was clearly shown I paid 10 bucks apiece for two pair and they were returned. She says, well, Im the owner and they are 45 dollar shoes. I was a bit miffed. I thought to myself, what a thief. And being the owner at that. So she says you can have the one pair for 20 bucks. I had to have them because my kid needed them for a game in two hours and nobody else had them. Yeah, they were kind of ugly and there was a spot on the display shoes, but I figured they[ll do, theyre going to get dirty anyways. So I reluctantly paid the 20 bucks for the shoes knowingly I was being ripped off by the owner. Got home to find the bottom of the shoe clearly was marked in marker "10" and the sticker price was marked over in pen "10." The employee on Sunday was perfectly right for charging me 10 bucks. The owner was trying to make a 20 dollar profit on her shoes that were already marked down to 10 dollars. Called her right up and said Im coming back to get my 10 dollars back. She rudely said bring them back. I showed her and she threw my shoes back in the box and said, Lady, you got a bargain. Well, the only bargain I got was the experience never to go back to that place again and tell everyone shes a rotten business owner with poor customer skills. Hey, these shoes werent even Adidas or Mizuno, they were some off brand and the box was so old it was yellow. What a shrew!! Go anywhere but there.
