Nice selection of alternative foods for a rather healthy choice. Their selection of alternates is pretty impressive for a small independent (I think) grocery store. Chose from various types of styles of butters (Irish, organic, non/-dairy, etc.). The fresh deli, juice bar, coffee counter and produce are well represented. Their beer selection of local crafts, and other popular choice beers makes it a nice place to shop, just dont count on many bargains being had here.

Wildberries is a great place if you are looking for an eccentric grocery shopping experience. The market is stocked with all sorts of awesome local goodies, and the inclusion of Ramones inside makes a great place to grab a quick bite while you are shopping. The only thing I do have against the market is that the prices on various goods are higher than the competition. I primarily go to Wildberries for the discount meats because they are cheap, and very fresh.

So glad i found this place! The staff is always very nice and helpful. I typically stop in for a vegan burrito, baked potato, salad bar, soups and a cherry cream soda. Vegan burrito is amazing if you get it on the right day. Baked potatoes have always been good. They have a curry soup that is tdf!! And the salad bar... Best salad bar ive seen in a long time. A great place to stop, a little chaotic, but it all adds to its character.. A chaotic little gem

Heres what you get: 1) Untrained new employees, good people, who get no guidance whatsoever 2) They dont serve people in the same order they take orders, so count on hanging out there for at least 15 minutes to get what youve paid for, except: 3) You dont get what youve paid for. The smoothies are made with water. 4) Just take one look at that bar and youll know its not sanitary My experience there was dismal and I will not return.

This was my first opportunity to eat healthy food since I crossed into California on my bike tour of the coast. The salad bar was healthy and delicious. Crystal Geyser sparkling water was in the drink fridge for 65 cents--a dream come true! I could keep an eye on my loaded touring bike while I ate in the nice enclosed patio. Arcata seems to attract a lot of bums; it felt a bit more secure here than in the town square.

Personally my favorite grocery store of all time. The deli is incredibly well stocked with local fresh eats. Their made-to-order sandwiches are second to none. Their soups are house made and always full of flavor. Their smoothie/raw juice bar is loaded with the freshest blended nutrition one could ever hope to find. This place sets the bar for any grocery store that calls themselves wholesome food.

Good deli. Great little "cafe" area for eating in. Good selection. Nice that the store also has a coffee shop and bakery inside the store and a juice bar and salad bar... Lost one star because at times this little grocery store can be either too busy or the music too loud or both – but honestly, this hasnt stopped me from continually returning to shop or eat in.

Solid smallish mid-high end supermarket. They seem to have a good section of fresh local foods, and the typical hippy and yuppie fare. The deli is quite good and one of the few places in town you can get actual spicy food. The in store Ramons Baker is very good as well.

This store offers everything from caviar to imported cheese. Their smoothie bar is famous here. The prices are very high, you pay for the ambiance and selection. To go meals are very good and everything is prepared on sight, so its fresh. Great bakery on sight too.

They occasionally have inexpensive meat that they want to get rid of and because of how fresh and high quality the meat they have is, its never gotten me sick or anything. If you shopping on the cheap, dont buy anything packaged here.

I wasnt a huge fan of the supermarket section of Wildberries, but I absolutely love their Wildnectar juice bar and sandwiches from the Wildplatter Cafe. Love getting some food and drinks here for a nice lunch.

For some reason I love the feeling if this grocery store. Has many options on produce that are from local farms. Plenty of good organic food. There is even a smoothie bar for grab and go drinks and food.

I love Wildberries! Definitely my favorite local grocery store. And Ramones is one of my favorite coffee shops, which makes it even better to have a Ramones in the store to caffeinate while shopping.

Eclectic mix of healthy and not, with a very Arcata vibe. The deli sandwiches are amazing and they carry many local products. Sometimes local musicians play in the store. One of my favorite stops.

They have some of the best meat, seafood, veggies, and fruits deals in town. Not a good place to buy regular store boxed goods. They have a nice wine selection and always have something on sale.

Certain things are a good deal here. Their fresh squeezed orange juice tastes amazing. Also, their enclosed, windowed patio overlooking the bay is a good place to relax and have a meal.

This is a very hippie grocery store. Not reliable for everyday groceries but great for specialty items and the deli. Its also the best place in the area to purchase fresh flowers.

Local chain, almost Whole Foods, but Humboldt specific. Nice place, but as inferred, on the pricey side, wont be my go to place for weekly groceries, more for specialty goods.
