Absolutely the very worst service that I have encountered. Do not shop at Safeway or Vons market if you can find other stores. As far as home deliveries, they stink! Whoever fills those orders does whatever they want to do. I order apx once a week groceries for a handicapped person in Sun City West AZ and invariably the most basic items such as milk and eggs are missing from the order because "They were out of this item". Give me a break Safeway people "Out of milk and Eggs"? Why dont you close your stupid stores. I hope no one ever shops there any more and you go out of business!

Do not ever go to the check out lane that has Maryann the cashier! Worst! She looks irritated, annoyed and is soooo slow! You are better off going to a longer line - you will still get out of there before shes finished with her current customer. As long as shes been there (protected by a union - assuming by the union pin on her shirt) youd think shed be the most efficient - but no! Oh, and Id stay away from the shift change! The cashier line is more concerned about going home then the 8 people in line. Thats the managers fault.

Do you buy your groceries at a flower shop? Then dont even think about buying your flowers at a grocery store. Its obvious they buy the flowers the florists reject. There is never any water in their arrangements and their potted plants are dead. I feel sorry for the flowers but not for the people who are foolish enough to buy their flowers at Safeway.

Bought a variety of wings from the hot wing bar and within an hour I felt as tho Id eaten a box of salt! I was so dizzy I had to hold onto the wall to walk... they way over did something, so beware! And the the teriyaki sauce tastes like corn syrup. I wont ever buy from that bar again.

Convenient, close, well stocked. Does not have the more unusual foods such as kippers or mexican cheeses that a larger store would have, however, it is a good neighborhood grocery store
