The outside of the Phoenix member of the Divinity Tattoo family is unimpressive and even a little difficult to find. The inside, however, is a different story. The rich wood furniture, warm colors, and tasteful but mature art on the walls make for a very comfortable and pleasant tattoo environment. Paolos art is incredible, but as a senior artist, his rates are a bit higher. I wanted a custom but simple Tibetan script and cherry blossom design, and after viewing Bruces portfolio, plus the fact of relatively short notice, I set up my appointment. Unsurprisingly, Bruces mentor is Paolo, whose Eastern inspired art is vibrant and excellently composed. Bruces design exceeded expectation and imagination. His color choice was delightfully surprising and beautifully executed. He was easy to talk to, and absolutely delightful to spend two and a half hours with. Also, his rates are a little lower than others. My friend had some gorgeous blue gulls done by him right after my appointment, and we both agree--we would only ever be tattooed again by Bruce! Best experience ever!

GOT A TATTOO WITH A GRAMMER ERROR HERE. I came here about a year ago for my second tattoo, and had Toby as an artist. I have a form of dwarfism that makes me appear like a living doll. And so I had wanted a tattoo on my back that says "She may be small but she thrives". Unfortunately I ended up with "She MAYBE small but she thrives". The maybe was not capitalized I just wanted to point out the grammer error. After it was finished and I pointed out the error to him at the front desk, the two other employees started backing him up saying it was correct grammer and that he wouldnt mess up like that. Then I asked to see the paper where I wrote what I wanted down. Toby then told me he already threw it away. That made no sense because it was a file, and even so you can grab it out of the wastebasket. I was then charged and asked if Id like to tip. It was all extremely unprofessional and unkind! I am still extremely embarrassed of my tattoo and am working to get it removed.

If I could give less stars, I would. I am experienced in the tattoo world as an apprentice. I got my 8th tattoo here and it was an awful experience. The staff were all friendly and professional. The shop seemed clean and professional. My friend and I got matching tattoos together, done by different artists. Their aftercare instructions were questionable, but still, we trusted their judgement. Not two days after getting our tattoos, they were blistering, burning, extremely sensitive, puffy, and red. Considering they were on our lower leg, above our ankle, they should not to hurt walk on, but they did. We are looking into getting our money back and we will not be returning to the shop.

I was really nervous about getting a tattoo since this was my first time getting one in Arizona and I didnt know of any artist or where to go, but Alex was a great artist. He understood how much this tattoo meant to me and he did a great job picking out the lettering and making sure that I loved it before he tattooed me. I would recommend him to anyone! Plus this place is very clean! I could have given it a 4 because I had an issue with one of the artists but once I got switched over to Alex, everything went perfect and they made sure I was happy! Thanks again Alex, Ill definitely be going to him every time I get tatted out here even if he were to switch shops!

Divinity Tattoo is staffed by knowledgeable, friendly, professional people that are able to guide ink seekers in finding the right piece of art to adorn their bodies. LISTEN to these professionals they will not mislead you in the very permanent pursuit of personal enlightenment. My artist, Nicole, took my idea for a tattoo and made it look perfect. She cleaned up the design, perfectly placed it in location and then she set to work on completing the tattoo within a timely manner. The after care of new works are clearly stated both verbally and in writing and...And you get free touch ups for 1 year. Your next tattoo is going to be a Divinity tattoo!

This place was FANTASTIC! I usually dont write reviews about anything, but I was soooo happy with everything about Divinity Tattoo. Austin was my artist and she did an AMAZING job! I would definitely have to say it is by far my favorite tattoo of the ones I have! & I will definitely go there again! Employees were very friendly and you could tell they only hire amazing people from looking through the portfolios! Pricing wasnt bad at all, pretty much the same as I paid for my other two, but service and quality were at least 10 times better! There was not one negative thing about my whole experience there. (:

The dark wood furniture, the color and artwork on the walls, the music, and the fragrance from the essential oils burning make for a very inspiring atmosphere for the artists. This is a very clean shop. This was my first tattoo and all these elements made it very relaxing for me. Now, the artist Tyson is a friend of the family. I knew he was gifted, but the design he created for me was phenomenal! Thank you Tyson for an amazing piece of art that I will carry with me always. My sons are very special to me and my tattoo displays their wonderful gifts in an amazing way. God Bless.

I was recommended by a friend to try this place for a tattoo, so I went with an open mind. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly woman in a super relaxed atmosphere. I described what I wanted, and she directed me to three artists portfolios. I ended up choosing Misty. I spoke to her that same day, described what I wanted, and gave her some creativity to work with. A short time later, I returned and was blown away with what she came up with. Great work, great detail, and an amazing experience. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo!

so i wasnt sure whether i was getting a tattoo or not, when i got to the place very clean and the receptionist friendly, they direct me to the artist in this case Nathan, he was the best person that i could have ever find, the process he make it smooth and was able to help fine tune the tattoo i was getting, while getting the tattoo he was always nice and easy to talk to. I will recommend this place to anyone who is the market to get a tattoo. prices arent cheap but after you get the tattoo youll see why they are worth the money.

My 3 friends and I went in last week to all get roman numeral tattoos for our friend who passed away. Charles was absolutely awesome and super friendly. Love the atmosphere of the shop, very clean and upscale. Everyone was helpful including the ladies on the phone. It was all of our first tattoos and we all felt comfortable. Clean line work, they all came out great and exactly how we wanted them, Charles drew up several fonts and was nice to talk to- reasonable prices for the services provided We will all be back :)

Going here has been my best tattoo experience by far. The shop is meticulously clean, even the bathroom was spotless. There are true artists here. I didnt find any of the artists or employees to have that snobbish attitude which you find in a lot of tattoo shops. I felt completely comfortable and welcome. The tattoo I received here is by far the best work Ive gotten. My friends and family who have seen my tattoo have said they will go there for their future work. Ill be a customer for life.
