I have been getting tattoos here since 2001 and have plenty of artist come and go and at the end it is the artist that makes the tat. Im currently in the middle of a piece on the rib cage. The owner is a real stand up guy. Business wise and customer service is excellent. Words to live by as a business man that he told me, “I just want you to be 100 happy with the tattoo when you’re done.” I was impressed. I’ m now working on this new piece and I’m very happy with the artist that’s working on me. I will most likely ask this artist to work on all my current tats. I would be pretty cool to see gilberts work too. Keep up the good work Westside oh an done last thing….You got to get some big smalls in the music line up

I came here last year to get a memorial tattoo for my father. I had been here quite a few times before so I thought it would be a good place to get the tattoo I wanted. Well I was wrong. My tattoo has many crooked lines and needs some touch up. I went back at one point hoping to have it touched up but the guy told me it didnt need any touching up, which was very surprising to me. He asked to take a picture and then ended up posting it on facebook, well in the caption he had the odacity to put, "tattoo that i did a while back, needs some touch up." Are you kidding me? With that said, I will never come back here. Ill take my money elsewhere.

I was looking for a new tattoo artist and i walked in WEST SIDE tattoo shop johnny tapia was the one who gave me some excellent ideas to start my sleeve. I was looking for a cover up because what i had looked like a "weird looking flower" johnny made it happen he did a cover up of a cover up and you cant even tell the old tattoo. Whats makes it even better is that he is friendly makes you feel welcome and he keeps it professional. I went back for a another tattoo and he is the best with. Color tattoos and black and white. He will NOT let you down with your tattoo ideas. Johnny tapia is the one to go too.

Aaron did a great job on my husbands earth sign tattoo. He was very professional and super nice. And theyll work with you on pricing which is great, even offering military discount bc hes active duty. A lot more friendly than other tattoo shops, they treat you like they actually care about receiving your business. Highly recommend this place!

I came here last minute with my friend to get a small tattoo and Aaron & Chris did our sun & moon tattoos. They were super friendly and just overall so chill. Im glad we ended up here by random because its a place I would recommend to all my friends. Aaron told me its been the same owner since 99. Pretty cool! Thanks West Side Tattoo!

I went to school at Arizona State University and transferred to Chicago. On my last day in AZ I went there to get a tattoo. I came back to visit two years later and refused to go anywhere else for another tattoo.... they are AMAZING! Love the tattoos, the people, and the prices. Great Artists!!

I never felt so uncomfortable! Me and my friend (and her husband) came here to get tattoos and all the owner wanted to talk about was sex. He even asked me if I would date a drug dealer! Plus, my tattoo looked like it was 10 years old it faded so bad after just a week!

Gilbert had done most of my tats. he is a very, very good artist and tattooist. The people at west side tattoos are very good at what they do! I would not get my tattoos done anywhere but at West Side tats. Remember, you pay for what you get.
