Alpha Omega

This shop has a lot of things to look at! First the owner, Rob, has tons of new stuff, tons of back issues, tons of statues, figures, cards, and unusual items! If there is something you want and he doesnt have it he offers to get it instead of just saying "sorry" and sending you on your way. He has fun with his customers. I heard him giving customers a hard time about not coming in enough in one breath and working out a better price for him in the next, smiling and joking all the while. He is in a high dollar area of Montgomery and I was pleased to see that he worked with peoples budgets where he could. He also had an artist in there signing books which was cool. I dont have a lot of money to spend on comics and such right now but when I left I felt that the $20 I did spend was well spent and appreciated. I also felt like my visit mattered. The owner was kind of boisterous but you soon realize thats how he goes about making you feel welcome instead of invisible. Thanks, Rob. When I get out of school and get a real job my hobby money is coming to you and capital City Comics!

Great store and great selection. Rob (owner) is extremely nice and helpful. His shelves are neat and organized each week and new content and trades are displayed nicely. Great comic experience for both new, graded and older comics. He also has merchandise besides comics like figures, posters, shirts and other memorabilia. Tons of graded and signed comic as well. I was a new reader when I met him and he has helped me out greatly. Just ask questions and he will do his best to help you with what to read.

I love this shop. Everything is well labeled and organized; therefore, it is very easy to walk in and find what you are looking for. Also, Rob is extremely knowledgeable about most things and series in the comics world. My wife and I can only get in to visit the store a couple of times a year, but Rob always remembers us, and he goes out of his way to look for things that we asked about in the past.

Well, after the hour drive I got to the store at 1:51 PM and was met with a locked door and no sign of life inside. I looked at the hours and they were 12:30-2:00, then re-open from 4:00-6:00. Alright, somewhat disappointing but I figured Id make the best of a bad situation and go visit a friend until 4:00. Now Ive returned, its now 4:15 and the store is still closed. What an inconvenience.

The store has a great selection however the Multiple bad experiences with one or two good ones sprinkled in, owner has a very off putting attitude and always seems disinterested. I find the store across the street to have much better customer service. Perhaps if the owner was more engaging I would be inclined to shop there more.

Hands down best selection in town. Customer service has always been above expectations for me. Why anyone would suggest going across the street is beyond me. Ive been there and couldnt find what I want. Never been dissapointed with Capitol City

The only River Region comic book shop we will go to. The owner is friendly and helpful. There is always a great selection and if you dont see what youre looking for, the owner is always happy to order it.

Rob is knowledgeable about the industry and most series. A very eclectic collection of statues, busts, and action figures, etc. as well as comics. The owner is always friendly and courteous on my visits.
