Moved here about a month ago. This store was the closest thing to me so I went to get a 1.75L of captain morgan. Thought i had moved to Mars when i saw the bottle was 45$. I figured it was state taxes or something so i bought it. Next weekend, to test the prices, i went to a place across from super walmart down the road. There it was, the same 1.75 liter of captain morgan, for 25$. Oddly enough, its cheaper to buy 2 single liters of liquor than buy a 1.75L at this package store. Very poor pricing. Got suckered again cause i needed sweet and sour, so i went to walmart. It was closed to i ended up paying 9$ for a 4$ bottle of mixer next door at this place. Both times i went in, i got the evil eye and the mention "this ID looks fake". They even did it to the guy in front of me. Sorry lady but if this is a holographic professional fake ID, then i deserve to be served anyway, learn your stuff. Get your prices right, treat your customers right, lose the edgy attitudes and I...wait, no thanks. NEVER AGAIN.

The craft beer selection was pretty good, but the customer service and professionalism was pretty horrible. When I walked in, it didnt look like they sold individuals of things that come in 4 and 6 packs but I asked just in case because it is pretty standard beer store protocol to do so, and they responded saying "that would make inventory insane", and I said "oh ok, Ive been to many beer stores who do sell singles so I wanted to check", and then the cashier guy chimes in with "yeah stores that do that also push old beer to the front".... and then what do I find at the front of their shelves but some beers that were best by dates past. Hysterical. I found it unprofessional for them to bash other beer stores, and felt they were degrading my knowledge and experience of beer because I am a woman. They also didnt even have a box for all the beer I bought nor ask if I wanted my receipt.

I love this store, sure its a little pricey but I cant find most of the beer and/or cigars anywhere else, including a few of the whiskeys. (I actually live in Mississippi) Id like to say that Im somewhat of a beer connoisseur and Im always in awe when I walk in the beer section, theres always a large quantity Ive never seen before. Craft beer is going to be expensive, period, sure their liquor is a bit ridiculous so I usually buy my Jameson elsewhere, and Im not about to blow 30 bucks on a cigar but the ones I do buy from there are very fairly priced and absolutely delicious. Im a pretty regular every two week customer.

Best beer selection in Mobile! You will, however, pay for that selection. They also have a huge humidor and apparently a good collection of wines. The lounge that they opened in the back of the store offers free tastings about once a week from local brewers and sometimes national distillers. Join their newsletter or Facebook page for updates.

These guys have their act together. They have prices as low as any independent liquor store in Alabama can have. Their selection is good. The beer selection is reasonably priced and wildly diverse. They also have an excellent humidor stocked with almost any kind of cigar you want. Their staff is very knowledgeable. .

Its small, clean, and a good escape to bring a few people to hangout w/ and leave all your apprehensions, worries, and the shackles of life at the door, right before you step in. Great beer on Tap and one worker there who is able to explain the awesome flavors which your taste buds arent able to describe to your mind.

Love these guys! Super nice, great selection, and can order anything under the sun at a low price. Ive enjoyed what they stock for a few years, but now I prefer a beer from Costa Rica. I expected to have to buy bulk for them to special order from outside the country... Nope. My 6pack will be here in less than a week!

Would say best beer selection in Mobile. They have a really good draft selection. You can order a pint while you shop or a growler, or crowler, (32oz can of draft) to go. They beer, wine, and bourbon tastings. They also have a very good wine and cigar selection.

Awful place to work and a worse place to shop. Owners are misogynistic idiots with no clue how to run the business there daddy gave them. They couldnt even finish college. Not to mention theyre not even American. Ill be shopping at Old Shell Growler from now on.

Beer: good selection. Liquor: WAY over priced! (Ardbeg Scotch is $112. Elsewhere... Only $45-50). Priced other items and 70% of them I can easily find cheaper.
