Ive never shopped there, but have donated furniture for them to come pick up. When they gave me a day I asked what time they would likely come and was told they would call with a window. The morning of by 9:45 I still did not know what time I should expect them (all I wanted was a two hour window or so so that I could not be stuck at the house all day waiting). I called Grace and she just repeated "they will call with a time". I waited til almost 1 to call again since I STILL had not been given a time. I specified "I just want to know when to expect them since I have other errands and such. All I want is a two hour or so window o I know when to make myself available to be home. Grace I guess was losing her patience and said "They will call with a time" (rather rudely). I then said the point of a window was to give someone a heads up well in advance so that they could plan accordingly. It wasnt until I said that I was half tempted to call another organization to set up pick up for these items that suddenly, within 30 minutes of hanging up with Grace the truck people called and gave me a 45 minute window. FORTY FIVE MINUTES. "Well be there between 1:30 and 2:15". Clearly Grace doesnt understand what a window really is or how it works. Calling me 3o minutes before you think youll be there when I waited all day doesnt really free up any time for me. Next time I am looking to donate I will look elsewhere.

I went to this thrift store after a reviewer wrote that it is "the BEST in Nashville." Couldnt be more wrong. It does have an enormous amount of clothing for sale...Im sure if you spent hours digging you could find something decent, but ALL prices were around 3.99 and up. (For used Old Navy shorts? Really?) There was an ugly 80s style Badgley Mischka suit for sale-- for $350. Be serious. The kitchen items were total and complete junk (and I have vision- although, there was a Sterling Silver candlestick holder in a locked case for sale- for $125), and Ive scored better furniture on the curbside than I saw in this place. Located in a seedy part of town, and definitely NOT worth the trip. Sorry. Consider yourselves warned. Find a Goodwill, Ive yet to find one in the Nashville are that didnt have *something* fun to uncover amidst the junk! (thats what thrift-ing is all about!)

We donate several times a year to ThriftSmart--and we also shop! I have collected mis-matched china and stemware for years. Last week, I bought two ivory glass lamps for the bedroom, $6.95 each. To those who wonder about the clothes: Come when you have time to look through them all. My pre-teen grandson always finds something he wants. His family can afford high-end clothing, so he is familiar enough to make really good choices. Last week, it was a "compression" shirt (whatever that is) for $3.99. Last summer, I bought brand name denim shorts for 4.99 a pair for myself. I look pretty good out in the garden in my stylish clothes!

This is by far the WORST thrift store in Nashville! It is unorganized, overpriced, outdated as well as nasty. The majority of the clothes are stained/dirty, well worn or torn. I found a pair of Aeropostale lounge pants with an OBVIOUS hole in the front, worn to the point of being "balled" and they were still asking 4.99! These clothes should be priced at .25 because they are truly yard sale crap! Take the extra time and drive further down the road to Music City Thrift or Southern Thrift. Bah!!!!

Im not sure why all the negative reviews. Yes, clothes are used, but they have tons of great clothes that are gently used and have tons of sales! My recommendation is to go on a sale day (calendar on their website) so you can save extra $$. I know they have at least 6 people check the quality of the clothes before they go out on the rack. All of their profits also go to great community building organizations. Great place to find great deals and great place for the neighborhood!

Tried to Donate several items for pick-up. The dispatcher who called was rude. Did not seem as though she was interested in the donation. I have donated several items before and not had this problems. We had clothes, household items, and other good pieces. This stuff will be going to Goodwill. NOT DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

Very nice staff, everything is color coordinated and really clean with a great selection. Im a huge bargain Hunter and I think a few things are over priced here mainly because I have gotten some of the same things brand new for more affordable than what they ask. Overall they are very friendly, clean, and always so helpful

Very overpriced and always seems to have the same stuff on the shelves. Seems the only thing that really rotates out regularly is the furniture. Also the display area in the front of the store is next to horrifically tacky. And is the stuff in the display cases for sale, or no? Confusing.

Ive never shopped here but the guys who pick up donations are awesome. They said they would arrive between 10-2 and showed up at 11. They took our large cabinet down our very steep driveway in hot, humid weather. All very quickly.

Soooo much great clothes! I dont know what the bad reviews were about. Sometimes thrift stores are a hit or miss at any time. Thats part of the adventure. Im actually going back a 2nd day in a row bc I regret the things I didnt buy!

Thrift store supporting local charities, typically a great place to get furniture. Small selection of vintage books, usually beaten up but they can make a nice $3 artifact. Recently found a 125 year old copy of The Scarlet Letter.

Overall I like the store. But I buy mostly baby and kids clothes. All priced .99 or 1.99. Sometimes I find a lot sometimes very little. Either was its worth a look.

Great people. Nice selection of furniture (at times, some antiques) and clean. The book section is expanded and there are some steals for book pickers.

Awesome thrift store, great specials and all of the money directly supports Nashville based charities. Highly recommend this store for second hand goods.

I prefer donating here than the other more well-known thrift shops. They will even come to your house and pick up larger items. Very nice workers.

I was pleasantly surprised by ThriftSmarts store. They are very organized for a thrift store and had a lot of good items at good prices.
