Yes, we got kicked out. After drinking coffee and studying for 1 & 1/2 hours at Coffee Culture, they told us they were very busy and asked us to give up our table. Me and another paying customer met at the Coffee Culture on King Blvd next to Freddies. We grabbed a 2-person table, ordered a drink, and sat down to begin studying (with our notes- no laptops). All around us there we laptops, couples chatting, people on cell phones, a typically busy coffee shop. There were no free tables, and we were expecting a third to join us. Because all of the 4-person table were occupied, we grabbed the first empty table and pulled it up to ours to make room. Within a 15 minute time period, we were bothered 4 times by the wait-staff inquiring whether we were using our newly-acquired table. Luckily, our third person arrived, sat down, and we started studying. After just over an hour, we were bothered a fifth time when they asked us to move because they needed our table. We found it very odd that the none of the single coffee drinkers sitting at their own table were asked to give up their table. Neither we the several couples with laptops that were taking up the large round tables. I guess three single female professional students are not the type of coffee-drinkers they hope to cater to. So, for all of the rest of you coffee-drinking vet students: Coffee Culture does not want your business. At least not when its busy. Id recommend Starbucks, Sahalies, Sunnyside, McMenamins, or just about any other business with Wi-Fi. By the way- all of these business will find you a table near an outlet and give you free Wi-Fi passwords.

Best part of this coffee shop: The coffee is excellent quality! Not bitter, great flavors. I cant say enough about the quality of the coffee itself, which for me is VERY important. The food is also fantastic, and they offer a great variety - sandwiches, grilled paninis, hummus plate, a wide variety of pastries, all have tasted great by my standards. The espresso drinks are comparable in price to the Beanery and Starbucks, if not a little bit less now that the Beanery has increased its prices a bit. Prices at Coffee Culture are likely a bit higher than Dutch Brothers. The Kings location is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. I found the staff to be professional and helpful. I was there for 45 minutes at the bartop counter with a friend and was not bothered. While I was there, there were several people around with laptops who were there when I got there and still there when I left who were also not bothered. I noted that the negative reviews were from at least a year ago, and I wonder if perhaps the staff has changed since then. Then again, it was not completely full of customers while I was there, so I cant comment on how they interact with customers at the busiest times of the day. When I go to Coffee Culture, I feel like Im on a mini-vacation, and I am kicking myself for not going there sooner! It is my new favorite place in Corvallis.

Ive been coming to this location throughout my college experience at OSU and then some and I must say, Coffee Culture is easily the best place to grab coffee in Corvallis. The baristas at this location tend to be friendly as well as knowing how to make a great cup of coffee. The definite downside is the limited seating. In late fall and throughout winter, its not uncommon to see college kids studying for a few hours whilst occupying a table... oftentimes sitting at a 4 top by their lonely selves.. thus the source of the seating shortage. The patio outside is also a nice seating alternative. TLDR: Awesome location, great baristas, college kids dont know when to leave and open up tables

I really liked their coffee roast. Its a very smooth, tad bit fruity flavor. I love it. Much better than Starbucks Pikes Place roast. Ive tried it both hot and iced. Amazing either way. It was busy when I showed up on a late Tuesday morning. Older (60+) and younger (18-30) people alike, all hanging out sipping on their specialty drinks having a good time or getting some work done. I went by myself. If you have more than 4 people then indoor seating could be an issue for your larger group. There was however a good amount of outdoor seating available. Fun coffee house. Relaxed. A little noisy at times, but not bad.

I had a similar experience to another reviewer at Coffee Culture. The staff were impatient and unfriendly. I enjoy working in coffee shops normally because I can eat and drink and be undisturbed. I think customer service goes a long way and I am constantly thanking the managers and staff at my regular coffee shops. Today, I thought I would try a new location and was sorely disappointed. I will never be going back to coffee culture and I plan to tell all my friends around town that if they want a pleasant working atmosphere they should look somewhere else.

This is such a nice, comfortable coffee place. The drinks are great, the snacks are nice, and for some reason everyone in this location, from the staff to the customers, seems to be a little more attractive than the average coffee place. Maybe its the lighting? Probably its the proximity to Oregon State University, which for sure lowers the average age that the place would have otherwise. Its always a little crowded, but again its very comfortable, the service is great, and the drinks are delicious.

Best coffee in town as far as I can tell (tied with Brew Station). Sandwiches and food are also stellar. Free wifi obviously. They recently switched to roasting their own coffee. No more food options except the standard sweet treats. I liked that they had sandwiches before. But they have more table space now.

These guys have been steadily improving their espresso lately, changing procedures, brew temp, and even some hardware. They now have the best espresso in Corvallis - bar none. The paninis and baked goods are yummy too. We now make it a daily stop for coffee, and sometimes lunch.
