My fiancé and I are in here almost every day with our 4 month old baby boy. Its a very clean and nice Walmart. We spend a lot of money here for one reason because its right around the corner from where we live. The only time I was completely embarrassed was when I had left a bag in my cart with tampons and pads in it and realized later. So we came back and asked if it had been turned in. The manager on duty said it hadnt and we could go get the same items we had left for free which was awesome! But when we were leaving 2 people with loss prevention a black woman and man stopped us at the door and accused us of stealing the items. I could not believe this. It was very embarrassing. Us with our little baby. The black security guard was standing in the doorway so we couldnt leave. Needless to say we proved we were innocent but every time after that we were followed around by the black woman. To the point I called and complained to a manager. We have never been caught stealing anything from this place so it was harassment and I felt it was because we were white. I actually have been followed every single time I go in here and I wont go back!!!! I have never stolen anything and Ive even called and complained about it. I dont have any reason to steal anything I have plenty of money in the bank. I bet I have more than that witch that keeps following me. Its so insulting walking around with my little baby and being followed around. She even followed me outside today. Obviously I get the picture you dont want my money anymore. NO PROBLEM!!!! I absolutely hate this place and wouldnt give them another cent.

Its got everything you need and its well staffed if you go during the day. Cashiers and floor staff are both very helpful. If you go after like 9:00PM its a completely different story. They seem to employ antisocial psychos for the night shift. I did not appreciate this short black dude, who seems to work as part of the cleaning crew at night, giving me hateful looks as if I wasnt supposed to be shopping in his store. I walked around the grocery isle minding my own business when I noticed him standing there like a deer in headlights across the department, completely stopped in sweeping task. He stared at me for a solid minute with this angry, unsettling look on his face. Not the end of the world, but not appreciated. More professionalism, less with the hostile thousand yard staring, guy. Ive seen this guy in there a few times and he always does something similar. I always mean to get his name to ask the manager what his issue is but, from what I can tell, he doesnt even wear a name tag. Probably so he can get away with non-verbally telling certain customers to essentially "get out" the way he does. Other experiences havent been that drastic, but my wife and I have both noticed that the late workers dont seem to want to be there. They all seem to have a "too good for you, too good to be here" attitude.

Since moving to Wilmington 2 months ago my roommates and I go to Walmart 3-4 times a week. Last time I was in I bought a mattress protector. When I got home the product in the box was not what I bought, someone had swapped them out. I went to take it in but did not have a receipt (the cashier did not give me one, I keep ALL receipts). I was told I couldnt return it and they couldnt exchange it either or give store credit. I would be more understanding if I was trying to return something without a receipt but the product in the box wasnt even the correct product! So I outright buy the product again on the shelf, this time making sure what was in the box was correct. I price-match their website and the cashier tries to tell me they dont price-match. Uhm I just done it 3 hours prior for the SAME product. And I was price matching their OWN online website. The whole thing was an absolute joke. Just goes to show how one bad experience can stop a loyal customer. Will take my business to one of the many other retail stores in Wilmington.

Its a busy busy busy walmart. I usually avoid going here unless i absolutely have to. Selection for everything is prettt good though. The store itself is pretty good. Parking can be a nightmare. They have a checkers and aunt annies in there. They are good. Some of the store employees should of been fired years ago but they somehow manage not to be. Its clean for the most part. With that much business thing just start looking wore down. Products are usually in stock. And plentiful. I do think some long term employees need a refreshing course on how not to be rude to customers. Its 24 hours. They NEVER close but 2 days a year. And its not even for a full 24 hours theyre closed. Which sounds great to customers but like a nightmare to employees. Walmart no longer believes in ppl spending holidays with their families i guess....

Getting my car serviced is always a pain for me. But I experienced such wonderful customer service from Lawrence that it made it so much less of a hassle. There was a lot going on, phones were ringing, store customers where popping up everywhere along where things were, the postman was there looking for a package, it was a lot. Lawrence handled it with such patience and always spoke in calm helpful tone and was very knowledgeable. He never seemed stressed or frustrated. I wish he had more help in there, I think there was only two employees working at the time. even as I was leaving to wait while shopping he came out from behind the counter and asked a few people in the auto section if they needed help finding anything. He really did go above and beyond for customers.

Tried calling their electronics department to find if they had an item in stock. I was redirected by the store operator FIVE times because the eletronics department would not answer their phone. The store operator was very kind and understanding, she said she was trying to get me in touch with a manager over on that side of the building but after another 10 minutes they still did not answer. I hung up and called two hours later and was STILL REDIRECTED 3 TIMES before they answered their phone only to tell me that they didnt have the item in stock. They wasted close to 30 minutes of my time due to their lack of attention or poor work ethic. I could not discourage people from this specific Walmart enough.

I have really had it with Walmart auto department. I was there for Just under 4 hrs for a tire rotation. I bought 4 tires about 2 years ago, the tires started showing excessive wear about a year after I had the tires. Then I was told that they were still legal to drive on. Now the tech told me there was nothing he could do about my tires. Now I had to wait for the manager,so he inspects the tires and tells me that I will have to pay for the tread that I used. I had full warranty on my tires. I had to pay $!00.00 for 2 tires. Now I feel as if I got cheated. It will be a very very long time before I step back into Walmart again.
