Horrible customer service! I bought a whole new set of appliances. They told me that the dishwasher would be installed by the delivery guys. When they arrived I was informed that they wouldnt be able to install it so I called an installer. A few days later after the installation I find out its broken. I get it, things happen. I go back to Home Depot to return the thing as it was delivered broken. They wont take it because its been more than 48hrs but the only reason its been more than 48hrs is that I received faulty information from them. They told me that they would install it so by the time I line up an installer of course its been more than 48hrs. They tell me I have to go through Samsung. Stephanie gets assigned to my case and tells me she would give me a break because in addition I had problems with my washer and dryer (I paid double for install because I had to use a third party after Home Depot left) and my granite install. But nothing. She wont even respond to my emails. She literally played nice while I was there then promptly forgot I even existed. Needless to say I got no money back. Now Samsung is giving me the runaround and its been two months since I have a brand new broken dishwasher in my house. Home Depot is unavoidable but I will never again use them for any appliance, granite, tile or other major order in my life. What other industry takes no responsibility for selling me broken items.

SO we went to The Home Depot today to buy a $2000,00 riding lawn mower.We asked the girl to send someone to talk to us about the mower,Guy comes over and says" I know nothing about lawn mowers so Ill try to help you but I probally cant" I walked back to the girl and said ok I need someone to help who knows about lawn mowers she said "no one from that department is here ..I asked when will someone who knows the product be here? she said I dont know. I asked about white glove delivery she said oh thats something you need to do on line we charge 79 dollars to deliver we can have it sometime next week not sure when because we have to have a guy from John Deere come in to assemble it they are in crates in the back.I said I see 2 it says you have 2 in stock on the website what are you going to assemble?? she tried to talk aroud that. It is a shame that we are being forced to do busniess at other stores or on line ..We left... NOW I know why people dont support the big box stores anymore.OH by the way we went to Adams Power Equipment the guy knew all about the mower and features They were happy to take my money and we will have it by Wednesday.So home depot I know my money will not make or break you but when this happens to enough people you will wonder what happened open your eyes or dont I dont care Im donewith your stores!!

My review is of one person by the name of Clyde. Yesterday I went in there looking for a plug inverter for my car so my boyfriend could warm up our infants milk while Im in the hospital saying my goodbyes to my grandmother. When I approached Clyde I was polite and had a picture ready to show him because A. My boyfriend went in 20 minutes before I did and no one knew what the hell it was or where it would be. B. I personally didnt know the name. I said would you know where this item would be. And with a disgusting attitude out of no where, he repeatedly said "whats the name." And I repeatedly said I dont know but I have a picture. Its an adapter of some kind. He wouldnt stop asking the same question and he continued to be the nastiest person ever. I just walked away because at that point I just was in awe and all I wanted was to get to the hospital. As I walked away he just kept saying something rude and running his mouth. Shame on him for being like that right off the bat and for no reason! Happy thanksgiving schmuck. Word of advice, if you dont like helping people dont work in customer service. We all have bad days, maybe Clyde was having one. However he did his absolute best to be so unpleasant to a woman who did nothing but greeted him with a smile and kindly asked a question.

I use this Home Depot frequently but wish I didnt have to. Any time Ive had to ask an employee for guidance on what to buy for basic home repairs or gardening projects, theyre clearly unable to actually answer my question. Today I asked a gardening associate what type of soil I should use to plant wildflowers and he asked me "whats a wildflower". Perhaps thats a fair question; I realize there are a lot of types of wild flowers. But when I showed him the bag of seed I was hoping to plant, he stared at the back of the bag briefly and then said "I guess garden soil" and then attempted, and failed, to show me garden soil. Recently I also asked an associate to show me a tool that I would be able to use to cut copper piping and he showed me hacksaw blades while shrugging. I realize I can research and buy these things online. The reason I go to a brick and mortar store is to have a discussion with someone and get advice. This store continually disappoints me.

Needed $4000 worth of materials quoted to build my shed/garage. Called service and they said to email my list. I did so immediately and they said I would have a quote back by the end of the day. I heard nothing so I decided to go there the following morning. I walk over to find 5 associates sitting there having coffee and laughing. The girl came over and I explained my situation. She could care less and told me would assign it to someone that comes in at 11. So their morning pow wow was more important than a frequent customer. No problem. I went to Williams and Dave the manager was more than happy to help. I will shop the small items at depot but never again will I deal with or recommend Home Depot in Poughkeepsie to anyone ESPECIALLY for contractor services.

This is the worse Home Depot ever my husband is disabled and I just had surgery we had my 90 yr old father with us . We needed help with a box and we asked for help several times waited 25 mins in the aisle for help no one came so my poor husband and my 90 yr old father did it themselves. The woman who we asked for help from was an older lady running self checkout she was rude and incompetent Home Depot needs to get more skilled people or at least not so rude I will never go here again I went there yesterday at around 5 pm its hard to find help and when you do they are rude and clueless

I like to get my things from home depot but start having problems with there delivery man I stop going there the,,, I told the man behind the counter let the the driver to call me before he gets there what happened the the driver called me when he was there he cannot wait not even a minute so I refund my purchase and I went to Lowes store they were happy with my business finely I leave the judgement to the next customer
