Went in there December last year looking for my first road bike and had an awesome experience. Their selection wasnt huge but wasnt too small. I wasnt pressured into buying anything and didnt even pressure me to even get on. I just went in there to learn as much as I could and they answered everything I had questions about. After that visit, I went to a few other bike shops throughout Omaha and did not have the same experience. The salesmen were trying to get me to ride, buy and get me out of there. Because of that, I went back to Re-Cycle and looked another time and came back with more questions after I had learned some more, again they answered everything and I asked to ride a couple of bikes. They measured me and had the bike fitted to me perfectly. After that visit I did some more research about the models I rode and made a decision. Bought my first ever road bike and have put over 100 miles on it in a month. Love it to death. After the first 100 they do free maintenance and had it turned back to me the next day. Highly recommended this store to anyone that is intimidated by the vast amount of knowledge there is to learn about cycling. Go to Re-Cycle. The crew there is awesome and extremely friendly and the best part was no pressure.

I wanted to start cycling about a month ago. Where to start? I began looking on craigslist and posted a want ad. Immediately, Todd from ReCycle began corresponding with me. There was no pressure to buy anything, he just wanted to help me find a bike. One day, down in the area, I went into the shop, I tried a few bikes out; road bikes, urban bikes but didnt like anything (plus it had been a while since Id hopped on a 2 wheeler). Then, Todd let me try his Long Haul Trucker out. I fell in love. I went over to Bike Masters (the only shop that carries Surly bikes) and they didnt have my size. However, I decided to order from ReCycle and got a bunch of extras thrown in for $100 less than Bike Masters. I am extremely pleased that I have built a relationship with Todd (who recently opened up his own shop) and Mike (the owner) and appreciate their great one-on-one customer service. The shop might not be that big, but they can get in anything you want. Mikes passion and dedication to helping you find the right bike far outweighs other bike shops Ive visited in the area. Mike has serviced my bike since and his warranty is unmatched.

I had a terrible experience with Re-Cycle Bike Shop. I paid for a full tune-up, chain and tube replacement. Within four days the new chain had shattered (while I was biking), the tube had gone flat again, and my brakes had been tightened too much by them and the cables snapped (again while I was biking). My mechanic, Rich, acted like I was a jerk and copped an attitude for expecting him to re-do the work correctly for free. Finally, after my brakes had gone out (the last straw), I decided to wash my hands clean of the matter and took it to another store which pointed out my spokes were giving way, another important detail Re-Cycle missed. They will take your money but will not give you the service you need to be SAFE. It is honestly a miracle I was not injured after dealing with their incompetent mechanic. If you want to buy a bike or parts, go ahead and try here (though I would not recommend it), but for your own safety do not have them do maintenance. Also @Nick, GreenStreets carries Surly bikes, not just Bike Masters.

Undue bike snobbery from the staff when I walked in. They are not professional techs or anything closely resembling it. I would not recommend this place if you are interested in purchasing a bike, new or used. Nor would I recommend having your bike fixed here. Ive bike commuted for more than 15 years and have a lot of experience with good and bad bike shops. This is a bad bike shop.

I went to this shop for the first time today. These guys know what they are doing....fast, professional, courteous and real, and not trying to overcharge on every little thing. I was very happy and will use this shop exclusively from now on. I drove in from 35 miles west and chose this shop because of the other reviews, (although it was the furthest) and I am very glad i did.

Jeff helped me buy a great hybrid bike, I put 12 miles on it the first day. Love the bike; he sold me what I needed not what they make the most money on. Thats a sign they actually value their customers. Great value and warranty. This is the kind of bike shop that values hardcore riders and beginners; everyone seems to be welcome there. I would recommend.

These guys are top notch. Very knowledgeable about the needs of your bike and willing to explain what needs to be done. I personally ride a road bike and felt very comfortable leaving my bike in their hands. Their prices are great. I will definitely return to this shop for all my future maintenance and tune-up needs.

Excellent experience... great service. I took my used bike in for a tune-up. The guy who helped me took the time to make sure the seat was at the height that I wanted it. Will definitely go back next time my bike needs a tune-up or if I need accessories.

I love supporting local businesses, but ReCycle charged me a ridiculous amount.. For the tune up all they did was swap my chain and charged me $85. Youre better off buying a $10 bike chain and watching YouTube videos to do it yourself

I was looking for a nice used bike for my teenage son. For claiming to be a used bike shop they have very little inventory and nothing under $250.

Spent about 5 min outside looking, another couple inside. Not one sales person said a word to me. New bikes expensive, used bikes prices unmarked.
