After paying for a floor sample couch, I returned to pick up the couch on the day that rooms to go requested. While waiting in line to speak with someone about picking up my couch, I watched as the manager told the lady ahead of me that she would send someone out back to load her order in her vehicle for her. Upon finding the supervisor on duty, I asked if they could get someone to load the couch into the bed of my truck. The manager on staff stated that they did not have anyone to load the couch and that we would have to return tomorrow to pickup the couch. I live an hour away and specifically planned to pick up the couch on the day that they requested. I asked if I could have a rolling cart to load the couch in which I had already paid for. The manager on staff, a tall African American lady, screamed that I could not do that and told the secretary to call the cops on me. When I walked away to discuss the manger on staffs actions with my family, we decided that it would be best to request a refund since rooms to go was withholding the couch that I had already paid for. When I asked the manager for a refund, she stated that she could not do so without the approval of the store manager since the couch was a floor sample. She called my wife a "sir" and said, "sir, you will have to come back and speak to the manager tomorrow". I corrected the manager on site and told her that my wife is a mam rather than a sir like she stated. We asked if she could call the store manager to verify the refund and she yelled "I aint finna call the manager on his day off!". Your store employees, specifically managers, should speak proper English when speaking with customers rather than saying words like "aint" and "finna". My daughter stated to the manager that ever since we purchased the couch, rooms to go of Gulfport, Mississippi treated us like pure trash and was very disrespectful to us. The manager pointed her finger at my daughter and screamed "get out!". While walking to the door, the manager on site repeatedly screamed at us to get out of her store. My daughter, who has a heart condition, was so shaken up by the mangers rude and disrespectful actions that her heart went into a tachycardic rhythm. This behavior was absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional; therefore, I will never do business with rooms to go, as they treated my family and I like we were trash. Considering that the manager happily had someone load the order of the lady ahead of me, I believe that I was descriminated against since she could not do the same for me. I feel as if I have been scammed by rooms to go, as I have paid for a couch and the store is withholding it from me.

Me and my wife recently went to Rooms to Go to purchase a new living room set. I always go in to a place and look like a bum on purpose so I can get a genuine sales person. We were pleasantly greeted at the door by one of their sales people, dont ask me to remember her name because that was all she did was a greeting at the door. We walked around looking for a sofa and love seat or a sectional, keep in mind we have 5 kids with us also so shopping was tough. We were not familiar with how the packages were set up and a little confused. Tracy Wolfe came and spent almost 3 hours with us helping us make up our minds on what will fit our large family. I will be the first to say being in sales I am not an easy sale, but Tracy hung in there though. We finally decided on what we wanted, she wasnt pushy and never asked how we planned to pay for all of this.... well until we ordered it. Unfortunately my bum look approach didnt sway her one bit she was genuine, we found her sales person and wanted to buy from her. We have been back to buy a few accessories after the initial purchase. Goes to show never judge a book by its cover. Thanks again Tracy we will be back again to get more furniture...... Bedroom set is in the near future.. As far as the delivery since I saw some of the reviews LISTEN to the salesperson on what to do if it is damaged during delivery, either by the delivery men or the factory all you have to do is make sure the delivery report reads damaged and they will call you with in the next few hours and confirm that it was damaged and resend it out.. I know it sucks that you have to wait a little but they will do everything to keep all of their customers happy.

Absolutely the worst quality furniture I have ever dealt with and the warranty that you pay 100 extra dollars for is garbage it will not cover anything. Over the course of 7 years we have purchased 3 complete furniture sets from Rooms To Go as well as two couches and every piece has had a defect in some way with not a single warranty repair to date. The sets were a bedroom set and two kitchen table sets with chairs. We had a leg snap clean off a kitchen chair. Several sliding brackets on our bedroom drawer set have broken off. The leaf on our dining room table was scratched upon opening it for the first time. The couches and coffee tables are by far the worst. We had a glass coffee table crumble when my 3 year old daughter who weighs 35 pounds sat on it. We then discovered the glass was held up by 1/2 inch thick particle board, not even real wood! The first couch we spent $2,000.00 on was a leather sectional. It didnt last two years before the leather was tearing up in big chunks. We cleaned and treated it every 6 months too! The second couch was one of the plad cloth material which we also had treated with the "stain resistant coating". We spilled water on it and when it dries it leaves horrible looking water stains. Good luck I really do not understand how this company is still around.

This is my second time purchasing furniture from this company. I swear I will never do it again. I specifically told the manager and sales associate the certain time frame I could have my furniture delivered. They ensured me it would be done. Well I bought my furniture and they lied to me. My furniture was delivered but not while I was home. Now its on its way back to the warehouse. In the process I was cussed out by the delivery driver whom was already 2 hours late when I called to check the status. I have given them multiple times to make it right but they still cant seem to. I was charged $165 for delivery but got a migraine and no furniture instead. I suggest to the next person who wants to buy furniture to pick a different company. And to the owner of the company, you might want to drug test all of your delivery drivers because Im pretty sure you dont display a boisterous attitude like I received unless you are under the influence of an illegal street drug. Also if you want to continue to have business you may want to figure out the horrible delivery situation. Its not reasonable or professional.
