Yesterday my boyfriend and I purchased a mattress. We walked up to a check out line where the cashier was having a conversation with another employee ( ok doesnt bother me ) So the mattress was $600 before even ringing anything up I let the very young gentleman know we would be splitting the payment 3 methods $100 cash $300 on my card and the remaining on my boyfriends. He said no problem ! Handed him the $100 cash then he continued to converse with an employee so I interrupted him , "can I charge $300 now on my card " he said yes. Then continued to converse so we interrupted again and asked if it was okay for my boyfriend to go ahead and swipe. He said yes gave us out recipet and we left. Were picking up the mattress today ... And apparently they wont give it to us because the young man at the register messed up the transaction and input that we paid only in cash. So we have Menards employees hounding our phones asking for our credit card numbers over the phone and rudely acting like this is no innconvience to us , when spoke to JAMIE who lied and told me she was the store manager she said things such as "is this conversation over yet" they have offered NO customer service gesture for our inncovience. Technically we have a receipt saying we payed for the mattress in cash , now were not scumbags, we dont mind paying for it but due to lack of an employees attention wouldnt you offer something ?! 10% off 20% off free delivery ???? I will never shop at Menards for anything ever again. Save yourself the hassle and go to Home Depot. Jamie skraba "the assistant" manager is the rudest employee I have ever encountered told me to stop talking at one point of our conversation and then proceeded to cop a 5 star attitude throughout the whole ordeal , being in management myself, this is no way to handle an upset loyal customer NEGITIVE 10 stars for Jamie.

I was here in mid summer buying some stuff from the garden center when i found a sad looking tomatoe plant on the clearence rack due to the fact it was half dead. I thought, hey with a little tlc this would be a great plant. However when i got to the counter to pay, it rang up for full price, i ask the firl at the register to check the price for me. After going back and forth she finally called some on a walkie talkie in the garden center, she came back real quick stating no tomatoe plants where on sale even though more plants where in the clarence section. At this point 2 employs had refused to honor the clearly marked clearence prices, it was only 2 or 3 bucks by the way, so i ask the girl to take the potting soil and pot of my bill since i was getting them for the discounted plant. All this is frustrating enough, and then as i go to turn and leave, the girl behind the counter makes a snide comment to her next guest, do you want to through everything out of your cart too?! Im not sure where that came from seeing as how i set the items i didnt want next to the register... The level of unprofessionalism and general lack of care for the customer by the garden center is incredible. The only reason for the 2 stars is b/c the staff in the lumber section are always helpful.

Eh, hard to write this without making it too long. Basically, placed a large order for cabinets, counter tops, paint, etc. to do kitchen and one of the counter tops was unfinished on one side and one was dropped during the move. I knew a 11% cash back sale was coming but I needed them done during that period so I ordered anyways. 3 weeks and 2 11% cash back sales happened before the problem was resolved and I wasnt able to get the Menards credit that I would have waited for if I knew there would be an issue. Also, we were not provided any hardware for mounting the cabinets and none was suggested. The filler that was supposed to be delivered was not, no one told us the importance of having extra counter top length to make installation better, the L shaped counter top was in two pieces, one of which was cheap (which is how it broke during delivery), and probably some other issues I cant remember. Main problem is with customer service. I wrote Menards two physical letters, first reply was basically that it wasnt their problem, its the counter top people they uses fault and the 2nd I received no reply at all. Will be going to Lowes or Home Depot in the future.

Spent thousands on building a shed, never returned an item. Store was happy to take my money. When I asked for assistance in ordering a garage door, the door color was wrong. Managers Jessie, store associates Jeff and Rachael were all extremely rude, abrasive ,and condescending. They stated I made a mistake and they will not exchange door for correct color without a $125.00 restocking fee! Called corporate without any resolution. They gave me the run around to contact Manager Jessie.There are several other stores, Home Depot, Lowes who have been more than happy to help and resolve problems. I will NOT shop Menard again. I suggest shorting their stock. Any consumer industry who hires employees such as Jessie,Jeff and Rachael has no interest in growth or customer satisfaction will not be in business long!

Worst store you can ever go. Pathetic customer service Employees do not know about their department they sitting on I ordered a custom kitchen cabinet. I specifically told guy I want this type grain on cabinet this is the color i want. Still he ordered some thing different. Now manager told that we can not accep return on this one because you signed for it and paid. Worst store manager and employee When I went to order guy dont know even how to start to make custom order. He called some body on phone and other person explains my salesman how to make order. Now he made mistakes and menards want me to pay for their employees mistakes Will never order any custom things from then in the future Be ware if you order something customize

Sells used items as new! How can items that are opened and re-packaged be sold as new? I understand that returned items can be put back on the shelf but they should offer some kind of discount for it. The cashier contacted a manager and asked for me but this woman totally refused to offer any discount. I left rather upset and this is why Im taking lots of time and trouble to leave a very NEGATIVE REVIEW. She deserves it! A token discount would not hurt a huge company like Menards. Its not like they cant afford it. Perhaps its just the principal of the thing. You dont treat customers this way.

Please be advised that my special order placed in late June and was promised delivery in two weeks.... Note: it arrived the 26th of July at your store and I was not notified via a telephone call...( I requested a call) ..and yes ...I did finally did get a call ...August 19th....... Your customer service leaves a lot to be desired!!!!!!!!!

Hate all the advertising... Took me a few minutes to get rid of the Uber app that took up half the screen. UI cluttered and not user friendly. Im sure if I took an hour or two to figure it out things would have been fine, but I was in heavy traffic and it was far from intuitive.
