Used to do business with Best Buy, but havent in years due to multiple bad experiences and poor customer service. Today I placed an online order for in-store pick-up for an item I needed right away. I made the mistake of thinking that placing and paying for the order online and picking it up in the store would be a fast way to get the item. MY MISTAKE! Went to pick up the item at 3PM and waited in a long line at Customer Service. There were no registers open, so all purchases were being rung up at Customer Service. After 10 minutes in line, I finally received my purchase and left the store. Another mistake on my part - I should have thoroughly checked the item before leaving the store. Missing the charging cable and instructions. Called the store and after 10 minutes on hold, got someone to check stock to see if there were any more on the shelf. 10 minutes later, the clerk told me that there was one more of the items on the shelf, but it, too was missing the cable, but the instructions were there. She thought that maybe the manufacturer "forgot" to put the cables in the batch of products shipped to their store. (Hmmmm, sounds likely, huh?) I asked her what she suggested I do and she said I could return the item to the store even though they could not fulfill my order. No clear understanding that I purchased the item online and waited for them to confirm that it was in stock before getting into my car and driving there to wait in line for the item TO SAVE TIME, not so that I could make a second trip to the store to end up with nothing!! I will supply my own cable, look up the instructions online for the product I purchased and go back to my boycott of Best Buy.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - STAY AWAY! I purchased a new phone from Best Buy a week ago - Samsung Galaxy Note 5. I returned today because I had some questions about the phone. I was told by a guy with braces in the Mobile dept that the "Samsung lady" wouldnt be in today until noon. It was about 11:15 a.m. so I had a 45 min wait. Okay, no problem. I was about to leave to go wait in my car. The keystone cop security guard at the door - dark skin black male - old - with glasses - wished me a good day as I was about to leave. I mentioned that Id be back in shortly to see the "Samsung Lady" He told me that she wouldnt be in today. I told him that the guy with braces told me she would. From that point on, it became a tug of war on whod "win" this argument - him or I. Things got worse when I he started talking to me in a tone that suggested that he thought I was a toddler misbehaving. I told him I wasnt and to not talk to me anymore. He told me I was rude! LOL...he was joke and I reported him to a manager who was polite, but honestly seemed clueless about the "Samsung Ladys" whereabouts. The manager apologized for the keystone cops behavior and assured me hed handle it...yeah, right. I left and went to another Best Buy - There were 3 Samsung employees onsite and they politely and quickly assisted me. Completely unprofessional behavior starting with the "security guard" at the door and incompetent uninformed employees trying to assist - No, it aint working!

I visit this location often and have noticed a pattern. The have very limited quantities of some of the most sought after technical products. The customer service located in the Geek Squad area is not to be desired. The young ladies that work in the area are immature, disrespectful, nasty and unprofessional. The store manager appeared to be great until I started asking about the lack of products and their quantity. Today, she shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly and with a very dismissive ..I hate my job expression. It was so sad to see someone that would work for a company and move all the way to the top of the company and actually hate their jobs and show it to their customers it was really distasteful and now I understand why the customer service is so poor at this location because they have a perfect example of how they shouldnt not be but they are allowed to be with the customers. I hope they get a new manager over that location that will bring in the products that the growing and thriving community of Rockdale will actually be able to obtain or either just let her go and find another job that shed be more inclined to like and feels more in alignment with career goals?! Lol. HOWEVER, i do know the last time I saw that look on someones face that she made..they had IBS and couldnt get yo a restroom.

I just came from store #389 on Turner Hill Road in Lithonia, GA. I went there to purchase a open box item a Dell XPSO18T-4444BLK All in one personal computer. When I arrived I found the item. I let the best buy sales person know that the price marked on the open box item was $899 but that the same item and model number for open box listed for that store online was $633. It took best buy sales people and the managers one hour and 15 minutes to tell me that although it was the same model number it was a different #SKU and that I would not be able to purchase the open box for that price. They said the price I could purchase it for was $719. I pointed out that Best Buy was selling that item for online new for $719. My issue is that it took one hour and 15 minutes for them to tell me that I could buy the open box item that was clearly not in new condition for the same price as a new item;. The manager said she could not do anything. In addition I saw many customers come in and leave the computer section when there were no sales people there to help them. This store is a mess

Rated ok because they had what I needed. I had no idea that the stonecrest location was moved until I arrived. Went to the conyers location, and they had the item I went to purchase which was a usb 3.0 charger. The thing is we went on a Monday evening and could barely find anyone to assist us. i finally found someone in the samsung dept. I waited till she finished assisting the customer she was helping. She was all smiles and chatting it up with her. The minute she finished she did not acknowledge me at all. So I said hi and asked for help. I asked her if they had a samsung brand usb charger. This lady totally flipped the script on me and was rude and cold in her reply telling me: we dont have it. I was appalled at the lack of customer service she chose to show me, yet when she assisted the Caucasian lady she went above and beyond for her. A couple more reps I ran into was more helpful than the lady Cassandra in the Samsung dept, so they made up for her lack of professionalism.

This is the worst location ever customer service is awful I.e. I should have known by the empty parking lot that something wasnt right. I went in to purchase new phones and switch service provider for my familys mobile service fyi its 5 of us which meant 5 new phones great commission for some lucky salesperson who would be willing to help me. Moral of the story 1. I sit and wait 20 minutes for a sale associate to acknowledge me standing there 2. 3 out 5 family members are interested in iPhones 3. We all wanted to keep are same numbers 4. Salesperson didnt seem to have time to get on the phone with my previous phone provider and get the # s ported over 5. He basically handed me the phone to talk to my previous provider and port the numbers over myself. At this point I politely hung up the phone canceled my transaction and took my business elsewhere sorry storme( salesperson) you missed out on an almost$900.00 commission
