Fed up with this place. Bought a bike in April so I would be good to go for the summer. Let me tell you one thing, really wish I would have never came here. I got my bike and after my first day of riding there was a clicking noise. I thought it would go away after a few days. Well that didnt happen. So I contacted them and they did me a favor and came downtown to pick it up from my work during the day. They also left me a loaner for the night, which was nice. But thats about the only nice thing thats happened. It was my free wheel that needed to be replaced, which they did. After them returning my bike I rode it for 4-5 days without another noise. Well that changed after the 5th day, back to the clicking in the free wheel. Also I had a hole in my seat that wasnt their when they picked it up. So I contacted them on this and they ordered me a new one that was going to be brought to me, here I am on August 18th and with that same hole in my seat. So once the free wheel was still clicking I contacted them again to get this resolved. Well they were going to schedule a pickup of my bike which still hasnt happened. 3 weeks ago I called on a Monday to explain this issue, the man on the phone was very attentive and acted like he was really going to help. Told me he would call me back by the end of the week. Well still no call back and still no fixed bike. Avoid this place at all cost. If you want a good bike from a good shop drive over to Colfax and Columbine, its called Velowood. Great bikes and great prices. Even better customer service.

I pre-ordered a bike with them about a month ago knowing that the bike has been out of stock for awhile now. I was willing to wait. After putting a deposit down and waiting on when the bike will ship they told me to call back the first week of June. Which I did and Lee was the one who answered and told me he had to check and call me back. Never called me back so I called back again and he said he had to check with his purefix rep and call back. Guess what, never called back. Once I finally got a hold of him he told me that it shipped on Tuesday and could possible be here on Friday. Sent him a text before I left work to see if it arrived on Friday he said it was actually on the truck but they never came by so it could be Monday that it will come in but he said he would give us the tracking number. Texted him Saturday-Monday for the tracking number and NO response. Only replied back saying he wasnt at the shop, will little did you know we knew you were there. We finally got told that the bike was misordered. Moral of the story, if I was willing to wait a month to get this bike, I wouldnt have been mad if the truth was out there and purefix pushed the date back to the 20th of this month. I would of still probably went through this shop and supported local. I can honestly say that this was the WORST customer service I have ever received and sadly it wasnt just an employee it was the owner of the shop. Be careful of who you upset because as my profession I have to network out to a lot of people. I will not be recommending this shop.

This place is great, but even better are the 3 guys who work there. Jules especially was great to talk to and learn from. They go over and above their call of duty to make sure you get what you want or need, and they dont nickel and dime you or try to sell you something more expensive than you need to make a buck for themselves. The prices are more than fair, service and stock is excellent, they can order and build you just about anything with wheels, and again they are extremely friendly, knowlegable and just good peeps. Cant more highly suggest a place if you are looking for a rig and dont necessarily care what the stickers and decals say (not to say they dont carry popular brands, they do--but they want to fit you to the best bike for you, your skills and your budget--not just sell you the label for ca$h)... Again, great shop, all 3 gents seem great, Ive worked with Jules buying my road bike and Id more than likely buy my next upgrade, or toy, whichever comes first, from him directly... Word up.

Ive had and continue to have the same experience as Julie L. Luckily I took the bike home from the store, but put money down to have handlebars shipped since they werent in stock at the time. Were almost into month 3 without handlebars!! I too have texted and called Lee beyond multiple times since July (its now Oct) regarding shipping, tracking numbers, and such. Each time, I have either had no response for the tracking number, "hell get back to me" (and doesnt until I contact him again), theyll drive them and hand deliver to me (but each day it they are going to something has happened at the shop), they shipped it twice to the wrong address, or is having issues with the USPS. Apparently putting a set of handlebars in the mail and getting it to the right address is an incredibly difficult feat. I have gone from initially recommending the shop to my family to actively persuading friends, coworkers, and family to stay away from The Bicycle Broker. Next up: Better Business Bureau.

Its hard to put my experience into words but it was totally amazing. From the second I contacted Lee (the owner), I felt comfortable and at ease. I am by no means a bike junky but I enjoy riding and know what I want from a high level but know very little when it comes down to the nitty gritty. They built 3 bikes within an hour for me to test out. They found me a bike that suited my needs and actually gave me more bang for my buck (better components for less price) They explained each model and what the difference was compared to the other models. Matt and Lee both displayed excellent communication skills without being pushy or pretentious (which has been my normal experience at bike shops). I am as eager as a child on Christmas Eve to get my bike and start riding it. Hats off to Lee and Co at The Bicycle Broker.

I went to The Bicycle Broker to buy a Pure Fix bike because I saw that they carried them in stock from their ads on craigslist. When I went in, I couldnt find the bike that I wanted. Darrin and I shopped around online to find the bike that suited me, then he had me hop on a bike that he had in stock to make sure I bought the right size. Once we figured it out, he ordered the bike for me, assembled it, and because I didnt have a car to come pick it up, HE DELIVERED IT TO MY HOUSE! Personally. In the rain. Im not kidding. I paid for the bike plus shipping and he assembled it and delivered it for no extra cost! I am now riding a sweet bike around downtown Denver and everywhere I go, heads pop up and cant help but notice my new awesome ride. These guys know how to make a customer happy.
