Mostly Grumpy Staff. The food selection is vast, the store is vast but the service in the Tapas Bar is usually terrible. There was a woman in there with very curly hair tonight who kept me and three other people totally waiting for 25 minutes. No smile, went out of her way to be unfriendly. When we asked for something she said to give her a minute, then kept cleaning the meat slicers. Honestly, she was plain rude. Maybe a bad mood but should not affect the experience, especially when paying top dollar. There are a few employees there who are fantastic, what I came to expect from Whole Foods, but the rest are suspicious and truly grumpy. Last year I didnt shop there for about four months because of a bad experience with the manager. Wrote a letter, no reply, and failed to handled the customer service situation. I finally decided to give it a go again, then run into the same bad attitudes and rudeness. Why pay for rudeness. This store needs an overhaul. Its not the Whole Foods I came to expect!

I love Whole Foods and before ever visiting this location I was willing to pay whatever cost for superior food and excellent service. We live down the street and have been shopping hear regularly since the store opened only to find out we have been charged 4 different prices on 4 different occasions for the same exact pizza! Nobody knows what is going on in the store. Our most recent visit we asked for the Panda sandwich from the deli guy. Deli guy replied with "we no longer have the panda sandwich". My reply "well its on your menu" deli guy "oh it is? Ok!" Meanwhile the sandwich is 2x smaller than the one ordere last week, not only that it tastes completely different. All the veggies an fruits are rotted. Im sorry to say that this location dosent pair up to all the other Whole Foods Ive loved. Management needs to Pay close attention to this store and its reputation it is giving to new and old customers .

I live 5 minutes away and love whole foods, this store in particular is wide open and clean. Pizza guy behond the stove is sweaty, fat and has little mans syndrome - he thinks his better than selling pizza - which I find really cool compared to cutting grass. His got an attitude and is explosive from his feet - like its his joint and his pizza - dont ask questions just politely ask for your pizza and leave - keep your eyes down and have soft gentle voice not to wake the monster you can threaten to kill you. Will file a complaint with BBB, against store manager who failed to recognize the situation and provide me with the level of comfort for me to return.

A large market, clean and well stocked. There are several food stands offering baked goods, sushi, salad bars and many other offerings. A large selection of vegan foods, including fresh, refrigerated and frozen, is available. A self serve cafeteria of hot and cold foods is offered. Located next to the bulk foods and near the butcher and fish monger are picnic tables. The wine and beer selections are impressive. Employees are very helpful. Ask and they will walk you to the item for which you are looking. Free parking and free electric car charging stations are available, in the parking lot, under the store.

This store runs out of everything constantly, sometimes even being out of stock of nonperishable items for weeks on end. I have to drive past the Tarzana store to get to the woodland hills one, but always do, knowing that Ill have to go to Woodland Hills anyway to get whatever the Tarzana one was out of. Never had this problem with any other Whole Foods in the valley. Other than that, its a beautiful store. Just not practical to shop at, since youll have to go to another whole foods anyway.

This whole foods is definitely one of the nicest in the LA area. A lot newer and cleaner than its counterparts in Sherman oaks or woodland hills. There is free underground parking and access to other stores like Starbucks. It is also way bigger than other whole foods locations so there is a lot of selection and it is also easier to get around (if you have a stroller for example). There are several dining areas and plus the staff here are very friendly!

Very nice place to just kinda hang out. Yes. I hang out at a grocery store. They have a lounge area in the front were you can eat deli takeout and free wi fi. Theres big comfy couches & free ice water. And the wine bar, where a lot of folks chill. Some Saturdays they have live music. Theres cooking classes. And I graze the bulk. Yes. There are signs saying not to. But just a great place to chill. Like a village center, really.

Spacious store. Quality items. Good cool underground parking. Customer service is spotty. Prices too high otherwise I would shop here every week. For such high prices why do I have to take items out of cart at cash register? Dont have to do this at Gelsons or Trader Joes. Will see if store changes when Amazon takes over company.

Ive never asked for help but they seem available. The place is clean, well kept with fresh produce. Ive been to other Whole Foods Markets with bugs crawling around the dried fruits, grains and cereals. The coffee is amazing! The prepared hot foods look deelish.

The market generally has a decent variety of food with fair quality and price. Friendly staff. The only reason I put 4 stars, they dont have baby formula, like enfamill or similac. So after shopping for food you got to drive to different store to buy for a baby

This is by far my favorite Whole Foods store. Although prices can be high, I love the freshness and variety of fruits and vegetables. Also, they dont advertise it but people can order food from the butcher shops in the back (all meats, including seafood).

This Whole Foods is located along a great stretch of Ventura Blvd on the Village Walk. The quality of food is what you would expect of a Whole Foods, but, with readily reasonable prices. There is a cute area to sit and eat or socialize or people watch.

Overpriced groceries for hipsters. Great staff. Free range chicken and beef, less so for pork. Some items may be there one week and gone the next. The food stands on the west side are terrible, avoid them! They have some nice booths for eating though.

This Whole Foods can be very busy and, when they are, is a little irritating to navigate the crowd inside. The fact that they share a massive mall, which doesnt leave ample parking for shoppers of Whole Foods, doesnt make the experience any better.

This is a fairly large Whole Foods with ample parking underneath and a decent sized seating area out front. It doesnt have anything particularly special (e.g. wine bar or pub) that some of their other locations have.

Great location and variety of natural products, foods, and liquors, including a deli and bakery, along with mostly reasonable prices, and especially being open until 11pm makes this store stand out from the others.

Eddie in the prepared foods made a cranberry kale tuna wrap that was out of this world! Such a great instinct for interesting food combinations and friendly service with flair! Best of all L.A. !!!!!!! :)
