I was going here every other day after work after I moved nearby. The other day I was in after a long drive home battling traffic and there was a bit of a line. What was holding up the line was an old lush standing at the counter-taking up space-DRINKING a 12pack right there. Slowing down customers and yapping incoherently. He was blocking me from getting some items near the counter and I lost my place in line. Apparently they allow this behavior and practice. I left and came back in a couple of hours and asked why they allowed this and the young girl behind the counter gave me a snide response "yes, they are allowed". I wonder if the ABC knows this. Anyway, they wont get my business anymore. This wino had been drinking for hours, my sense of smell confirmed, and certainly cannot be good for business. But its their store and there are plenty others nearby.

I go in here a lot. Employees are great guys, but the prices in here for hard liquor (whiskey) are "stupid high" in comparison to other places around town. If youre looking for a nice, "small town feel" kind of place to go, this is the place. If youre looking for the best deal in town, this is NOT the place to go.

I have on two occasions bought beer that was stale. I will not buy beer there again. I would steer away from this place if you want good quality beer

This is a smaller shop, but the hard liquors here are generally about $3-4 cheaper than most other places Ive seen in the Twin Cities.
