Shopping in thrift stores can be a real bargain hunters challenge. It is the joy of the find, and there are never sale items for everyone as all items are one of a kind. I thought I have been to some very nice thrift stores, but this place is incredible! First it is huge, as big as a Kmart, with wide isles, incredible organization, and clean clean clean. Wow! This is a place to browse thru on the way thru Gilroy!

When people think of thrift shops there is usually a “ewe” factor. However, the Salvation Army in Gilroy looks and is run like a department store. I encourage my clients and audiences who need a suit for a job interview to shop at this store. Expect great service, friendly smiles and row and rows of attire suitable for business. No reason to spend thousands on your wardrobe. Especially in this economy!

I love this Salvation Army. It is HUGE! You are guaranteed to find something you like in here. I am never disappointed. Employees are very friendly as well.
