Incompetent employees! I ran out of paint during my project, so I ran to this location to pick up more. I returned home and discovered that when the employee Adrianna mixed the color, the color mixture missed the inside of the can and sprayed inside the rim. What did she do? Sealed it up and gave it to me anyway. I returned to the store and asked to be made a new one. She argued with me and stated it was fine. She said she saw it spray into the rim, so she just added more color to the mixture. I asked her what would happen once I started painting and the pool of additional wet mixed paint from the rim mixed with the inside of the can. Or if I saw the darker mixture paint in the rim and used my brush to try to get it in the can? This would obviously then make it twice as dark since she added an additional squirt, but she didn’t have an answer when I asked about this. While Adrianna continued to argue with me, another employee (possible manager?) came out. He asked what was going on, and she loudly stated that I was “freaking out” about the paint. Me asking why she gave me paint when she screwed up the mixture is not freaking out. Freaking out would involve profanity or yelling. At no time did I yell or use profanity. But thank you for not remaining professional and announcing to the store that I was ‘freaking out.’ I understand if you or the machine messes up and sprays the mixing color places other than the inside of the can. If that happens, just make a new one. Don’t just throw in an additional squirt of color and pass it off. I have spent many hours on my project, and am attempting to get everything to match up nicely. The colors obviously aren’t going to match up if you are doing this. Typically I’ve had good luck with Sherwin Williams as a whole… Just not this store. I just stopped here because it was on my way elsewhere. Usually I visit the store on 5800 W Oklahoma. I’ve bought many hundreds of dollars’ worth of paint from that location without any incident. I would recommend avoiding this location as they obviously have incompetent employees that do sloppy work and still pass it off to you as their product.

I dont remember the guys name, but it was a younger guy who was working. He was very knowledgeable and super helpful. This was my first big painting project and I did research online before going in, but I was very very happy with all his help. I feel very confident about my project now and I will definitely make this place my destination for paint and supplies!!
