Best variety of frozen pizzas Ive ever seen!!!! Other than that I dont have anything good to say about the place. Their prices are considerably higher than any other place in town and for the exact same products that the other places in town carry also!!!! If I could give 1/2 star I would, and only because of their frozen pizza selection. My advice, if youre looking for a frozen pizza, this is your place. If youre just doing general grocery shopping, go to Gordys or the Walmart grocery stores...Price check same items at all three groceries in town and youll see Im not joking. My guess is that MarketPlace will be shut down within 3 yrs because of their high prices.

Other than some clerk from the coffee shop yelling at me because I was taking a few cans of soda into the beer section of the store (which Ive done numerous times because its often quicker to pay there and I needed beer anyway), the store has been fantastic. Great selection, fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, deli, and weird stuff like the almond milk my housemate drinks. The bulk and organic sections are unbelievably well stocked. And the people (employees and customers included) have been extremely friendly. I wasnt used to stores like this when I lived in PA. It was a welcome change.

This place was my go to place for all things meat but they redid the meat department and now the prices are higher and they seal the meat up so tight that you cant actually tell what the marbeling is on the meat your interested so you might think your getting a steak that will be nice and juicy til you get home cut open the package and see what it really looks like. Very disappointed

If you are looking for a higher quality grocery shopping experience, Marketplace is the place to go in Rice Lake. Meat and deli section is good and the have an absolutely HUGE organic section. The coffee shop is awesome too and I love their selection of adult beverages from micro brewers.

They have a nice (enough) coffee shop there with places to sit, wi-fi, etc. Coffee was over-roasted for espresso, though. Burned.
