Coffee was really good, the food was not. I went with a coworker who said the coffee was fantastic at this place. Its nice, the server was really sweet and the coffee was good. The big disappointment was the food. We each ordered a breakfast sandwich at $6.30 each. I have to say for that price, I expected a really, really good sandwich. Alas, I was rewarded with a prepackaged gas station food sandwich that a total letdown. A square "egg" (think unnaturally yellow and tasteless styrofoam, one piece of bacon, and one slice of cheese on an English muffin. I truly think I could get a better breakfast at a gas station. The coffee, however, way quite delicious, rich and smooth with not bitterness. I would definitely go back for the coffee (which was a little more than than your average latte, but not outrageous like the breakfast) but buy food anywhere else, even 7-11.

This is a really cool coffee shop in capitol hill. Plenty of large windows give the place a ton of natural light. The place has a ton of things that make it u pique including the wall of bobble head dolls, chalk boards in the bathroom, and exposed wooden beams that line the ceilings. The crowd is a mix of students and people working at startups. Tip: There is a table right next to the entrance that is great for people watching on Pike St. But it can get really cold as people open and close the door so make sure to keep your coat on if you sit there

This place is absolutely horrible! Which is kinda sad because the coffee itself is decent. Unfortunately, the owner and staff feel the need to mix business and politics, and everyone inside did nothing but argue. On top of it, I then watched a staff member go outside and harass a Seattle Police Officer that was doing nothing but trying to help a woman who was clearly mentally handicapped and having some sort of crisis. How about we keep coffee, coffee, and you keep your political agenda at home.

The fluffiest cappuccino Ive had in ages. Unfortunately, the most expensive...but that was my own fault; upon inquiring about their kalabi flavor syrup (a little vanilla-y, a little chocolate-y) they offered to add a little and I accepted, not realizing that would add a dollar to the price...and felt awkward about retracting it. Wonderfully spacious seating area, perfect music volume as others have said, and free WiFi. The fellow patrons were also of perfectly moderate volume. Would return.

This place has a friendly atmosphere. It reminds me a lot of Zeitgeist in the Pioneer Square district. Power outlets are easily found for people doing work on laptops, and lots of people are using them. All of these people working (often socially) contributes to the atmosphere. Its a nice mix of laid back and intense. My one complaint is that it wasnt obvious how to order anything besides coffee and other associated drinks.

This place has really good coffee, decent food/pastries, and some of the friendliest baristas around. They have a really unique atmosphere, and great variety of customers, which makes this one of the liveliest coffeehouses I know of. There is always something going on, and it buzzes with life and attitude. This is such a cool coffeehouse I bet other coffeehouses get jealous. :)

It was difficult to find seats and not a great place to work. Due to how crowded it was, I ended up right next to a group of people standing and loudly discussing their social lives. Edit: came here in a weekday and it was much, much better. Drinks and service are good.

Capitol Hill is dead. Long live Capitol Hill. This is the last coffee shop (and one of the last establishments period) on the Hill that feels like legit, old Capitol Hill. If you want color and personality in your coffee shop, this is one of the last.

Super friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced. The coffee is pretty good (this is Seattle and awesome coffee is everywhere). if you come here regularly be sure to fill a gift card with $20 and theyll put an extra $2 on it.

First time visitor here. Its a roomy and inviting space with fun industrial finishes. The service was particularly friendly, the Latte was solidly good, and the scone a just right moistness. A pleasant experience

A bit overpriced, even for a local coffee shop. Service was nothing special, the decoration of the coffee shop is awesome and feels very Seattle. Have other places I would prefer to go.

Love this gem. Nice mixed crowd, and the Baristas are very accommodating, without the attitude that usually comes with Capitol Hill establishments. Good Job! Thank you.

If you are bored of your regular drip coffee, the kaladi coffee here is good with a slight vanilla / chocolate twist ! Also a fun place to hangout with internet.

Good coffee, nice pastries (and an oven to heat them, which seems to be rare?), and very friendly staff. Might be my favorite in the area.

Hipster coffee shop where baristas take there time (good) and the tables are usually filled with students and work-from-home types (bad).
