Someone is trying to put this establishment out of business. I buy groceries from this market for over three months now. The people working there are very nice and honest and they work hard for the Dollar like all of us. On Google maps this establishment was labeled "Permanently Closed". I rode on a bus and went there, the store has a sign that says "Open". I was really confused. I walked inside and talked to the owner, he said that he has no idea about the Permanently Closed label on Google Maps. I showed him on phone what it says on google maps about his establishment. He got really upset about it, someone is trying to put him out of business which is terrible thing to do to a person that has a family who is working hard to make it happen. I want to correct this with the Google Maps people. The KN Halal Market located at Tanglewilde Shopping Center, 7255 Martin Way E, Olympia, WA 98516, is an open business and it has been opened for thirteen years as the owner explained to me. The person who is trying to destroy KN Halal Market ought to be sued, and I hope they will find this sick person.

This is a wonderful store. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The variety of fresh produce is amazing. I didnt recognize most of it. :) I found curry leaves, lemongrass, black mustard seed and basil leaves with purple veins, all things that I was looking for, plus so much more like bitter melon. Im not brave enough to try bitter melon yet. There was even mochi! I missed living in Renton where I could get mochi from Uwajimaya. Now I can get it here. :D

I went there once and I like the fact that they have lots of different items. I do think though that the prices are expensive . I bought 3 mangoes and it cost $14.95 .

They have all the spices I need to make wonderful Northern and Southern Indian dishes. And they also have lots of different kinds of Halal meat.

They have many hard to find items (fresh curry leaves, etc) and very fresh produce. Its s really wonderful little store.
