Entering this store is like stepping into a time warp and going back at least 20 years.Roses department stores were actually in better shape in the 1980 s with a small snack bar,candy counter , ice cream,milk shakes and soft drinks,pop corn ect.All of that is gone now,but they are serving a purpose and holding their own.Most of what they sell is of discounted price and I always buy my yard tools and bath supplies there at the best price in & around Richmond.They have disconnected the automatic doors in order to cut expenses,but I dont mind pushing the door open to save money on the things that I need to stay on a tight budget!
