There is someone on here making negative comments about his experience. If that someone would write about the actual experience, what was it that upset him; then we the interested public, may could tell if those services would impact our service experience at Office Max. Instead what the grumpy customer does is spam the comments section about how he had a bad experience, that hed never use their services again, and about how hed tear the page out of his display monitor (if he could), assumably because hed never have use of that portion of the map again. Good luck with that fella! My experience was nothing special, but here goes. The building was clean and well lit. It was reasonably maintained. Nothing was noticeably bad or broken about the structure or the building itself. I asked for where I could find the items I was looking for, and I received adequate directions. Again nothing stellar, but also no "anger management" problems either. The products were competitively priced and I have no complaints about my shopping experience there. I will go back again. In fact, I just got off the phone with one of their sales reps, after a lengthy telephone conversation of at least 10-15 minutes. I had specific questions about their copying and scanning services. The sales representative on the phone was very knowledgeable. They took the time to respond to my lengthy descriptions of the kinds of copying that I needed to have done. They told me what those prices would be and ways to mitigate those expenses, depending on several factors, including if I made the copies myself, as opposed to having them do them all (about a 10 cent difference, which adds-up for something like the 100 pages I am considering having copied). Overall a good experience, even if but a phone call. Office Max gets 4 out of 5 stars from me! Woot! Woot

I almost always use the office depot; located on the south side of Richmond off Midlothian Turnpike ( their customer service and quality is always wonderful! And anytime there is a problem with quality, they never make me pay or let me know ahead of time what the issue is .) This was my first time using Office Depot off Laburnum Avenue on the east side. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service and lack of quality. When I went to go pick up my prints, they were scratched, marked and tearing on the sides, where they wrap the photo on the canvas frame. The picture was all pixelated and hard to make out the contents. When I questioned the woman behind the counter about it she told me that it was my fault and I still needed to pay for the prints. I asked her why she didnt call ahead of time to let me know the pictures were bad quality, again she told me was my issue I needed to pay. Then I pointed out the marks and tears on the photos and she said I still had to pay for that... I did not pay and did not take the prints with me. That was extremely disappointed about my encounter. I will not be using the office depot located in White Oaks anytime soon

Disappointed. I tried to get a price match with Amazon with some trading card protectors. It was Office Max brand against ANY brand on Amazon. They would not match the price because it was not the same brand. The higher quality one on Amazon was still cheaper. If they were going to price match I would have doubled my order. Instead I returned them all. Service was polite.

Waiting in line and a lady steps in front me. Cashier saw it and didnt even acknowledge. Then I was told I had to pre pay a $50 print and laminate order. I have never had to do that at the Office Max I normally visit. They always let me pay after the work was done and after I inspected it.

This OfficeMax is wonderful. When I need help they are always there when I dont need help they are always there. Customer Service is Awesome!! You can always find someone on the floor willing to help. I never never never stand in line for more than 4min..... they are excellent
