I went to Richway tonight looking for my first wig, since I recently received an awful haircut. The whole experience was dissatisfying. The woman in the back by the wigs did not seem like she wanted to help me at all, and I honestly know nothing about wigs. I asked her a few questions, and after receiving a short answer for each one, I decided to just pick a wig at random and leave. Unfortunately for me, when I came home, I noticed the wig was WAY lighter than I thought, and it just would look awful on me. The wig is bright blonde, and also had a brown streak going across the scalp of it, making it look completely fake. I called, not even 20 minutes after leaving, to see if I could exchange this wig, which still has all the tags on it and is barely brought out of the box, for something that would be more fitting to me. I got the "all sales are final" slap in the face, and I, unfortunately, do not have the means to come buy another. All in all, the entire trip here was mortifying. I would not suggest it to any newcomers, such as myself. If you do go here, make sure you know what you are doing, because there is no help and you are not allowed to make any mistakes.

id NEVER go back to this store EVER. i went there this morning and dropped $100 on false lashes. the girl miscounted by 4 and when i called to see what could be done he told me to call him back in a little bit because he needed to call the cashier because "that didnt seem like her". when i went to ask if he wanted a cashier id he hung up the phone. when i called back he told me she said she counted right and when i said "of course she would say that" he said to check again. when i asked if there was anything he would do he told me "no" UNBELIEVABLE. it would have cost him $8 to fix the mistake. unprofessional customer service, rude, cheap. id return them and pay more money elsewhere just so he wouldnt have my money.

I love the large selection of hair. As of customer service experience it was awful. I asked the young lady about the gold beads that go on hair while checking out and her response" its right there in your face" I told her "there was a better way of saying it" she said"well how else do I suppose to tell you its right in your face" I basically shook my head and told the employee I no longer wanted to purchase the items I picked out which came up to $160. I also notified the manager of my experience. I have shopped at Richway since I was a young girl. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! I wasnt disrespectful at all. Just asked a simple question.

This establishment is not even worth half the star. First time today in this place and wow...what a dump. Unorganised, cheap, and down right ghetto...I figured, give this place a try based on reviews. Clearly the reviews are from employees and "Hampton Roads Finest". Walked in, passed several employees and of course, no one offered help. Was planning on buying a few things but tossed them out when I realised that this place wasnt worth my money. So in a nutshell, never again...dont bother stopping here. And what a coincidence, Its located right beside "The Dump" furniture store, a name also fitting for Richway.

I give richway beauty 5 stars I have been going there for years even at their old location they have bigger packs of braiding hair for the same price as a skimp pack in other beauty supply stores the people know me so I dont really care about customer service they always laugh at me and with me and I love the variety of hair Im not in to the 300 dollar hair but i take their 20 dollar hair last a long time I do hair so the maintenanc..e on the hair is nothing to me I love richway and I forever Will

Came here for the first time the other day to look for a wig. I normally dont wear them but I wanted to try something new. I went to the back to ask for 100% human and I spent over $150 for one. After a few days of wearing it it got so knotted! And it also burned when I tried to flat iron!. I went back and told another associate about my experience and she said "oh those were the wrong ones she was probably new" like wtf never again am I buying hair from here . Unless i plan on wasting money

First of all they are advertised to remain open til 8:50 p.m. However when I arrived at 8:42 p.m. I was turned away. When I pleaded to make a small purchase I was steadily turned away and told that they close at 8:45 p.m. ijs......And not to mention they still had several customers shopping

Ive been going to Richway beauty for sometime now. The staff & manager are very outgoing & friendly. If you cant find what youre looking for, theyre more than happy to help you. I invite all that have beauty supply needs to come on in, you wont regret it.

Very rude service. They act like they dont want to help you. Treat regular customers like crap and talk nasty to you. Dont show patience or attention to you when you ask for help. Very disappointed with the customer service.
