Today, my Birthday, my Mom decided to take me shopping for some crafting supplies, Im refinishing 6 different pieces of furniture so we were prepared to leave with half of the store. Half way through our shopping my normally calm and well behaved, 4 year old has meltdown! Nothing crazy, just lots of tears and crying, either way I decided she should wait in the car. We were in the back of the store, and as quickly as possible my Mom took her out to our vehicle to calm down. I went over to get some fabric cut, the last thing to add to my VERY full cart, and while waiting in line, I hear one of YOUR EMPLOYEES, an older lady, talking about "that child" as she cuts fabric. She proceeded to rant and rave and try to get other customers to join in, about how terrible of a child it was that would throw a fit like that. How the parenting was terrible, how children like that shouldnt be brought out, how it was uncalled for and making it terrible for everyone else trying to shop. The customer that she was cutting fabric for kept saying sometimes kids have bad days, theyre kids you cant hold that against them. Another CUSTOMER, who Ive never met, was coming to the aid of my child who was being berated, behind her back by a woman that was working for you. When it was my turn I informed her that I wouldnt be purchasing the fabric, that it was MY CHILD that she was disrespecting and that she was out of line. I quickly spoke with the store manager and I left the cart full of supplies, un-purchased and took my business elsewhere. Keep in mind, it MAY have been 2 min of crying, from the time she started till the time she was fully out of the building. Children will occasionally have moments, and as a responsible parent I had her taken to the car to wait it out and didnt push her around the store screaming for an hour. I am shocked and appalled the the level of disrespect that I was shown. You have lots a long time customer, because of the careless and juvenile actions of one of your employees.

There is a good selection here but Im rating it two stars due to the bad customer service I witnessed. The manager was extremely rude to one of the customers due to a mistake that was the stores fault. That was absolutely uncalled for to speak to a customer that was being kind and patient. I expect better service especially coming from a manager.

Ordered a custom matte for a poster at this location. The initial order was done wrong and the size was off when I received it. They quickly corrected the problem and offered to put the frame together for me. My interactions with the staff have been very positive, most have been friendly and outgoing.

I love Jo Anns for the fabric selection and their coupons. The line to get fabric cut is never too long and the fabric is always cut neatly. Clean bathrooms.

This is a very nice, clean, and big store. There is plenty of room in the aisles, and plenty of room for merchandise. I recommend this location to anyone.
