My husband and I went on a kayaking tour at the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge with Dave, the founder and owner of Southeast Expeditions. All of the staff was professional and really friendly. Dave gave us a quick paddling primer and we were on our way. He pointed out different birds, including bald eagles and their nest, osprey, herons, egrets, gulls... It was so much fun. At $45/person including all the gear and a guide--and it happened to be just us--it was a great value too. Highly recommend this outing.
