These guys were very helpful when I adopted my dog in January of this year. I had previously gone to Petco in Williston to pick out a crate, where I spent a long time waiting for someone to help me pick the right size (eventually I got frustrated and left). PFWs employees spent almost an hour with me the first time I came in, helping me pick out the basics (food, crate, bedding,etc.), and each time I go, its easy to find someone to ask questions. You get much better service than at one of the chain stores, and theyve got a great selection of bulk treats/bones.

PFW has some very friendly and helpful staff! We have only encountered one woman that works there that is extremely rude and unfriendly, but all the other make up for her attitude. I am generally fairly happy with their dog selection. I wish their cat and definitely their small animal selection was more well rounded. There is high quality dog and cat food sold here also. Some of the treats seem a bit expensive, but we also treat our puppies and kitty like our children and spend a lot on them. Definitely recommend!

I have been a customer of Pet Food Warehouse in Burlington Vermontfor decades. PFW is a locally owned store; not a big box chain. The folks who work there are terrific and extremely helpful. PFW also donates to many shelters and also charity boxes at the long counter with names of each needy animal shelter throughout the USA. Customers always drop a few coins or bills into those boxes. They also sponsor summer outdoor activities for dogs and their owners.

Great local pet food supplier! They have a huuge stock of cat and dog products, staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and it is amazing how many of them are floating around to help you. Practically every aisle I browse, another sales associate asks me if I need anything. And if I do need something and no ones around, theyre easy to flag down. They also dont carry crappy stuff. No Hartz or Beneful in this store! Every product they sell is high quality.

I am new to Vermont, and PFW is one of a kind!! Each staff member is extremely knowledgeable and kind. They gave me extensive help deciding if and when my pup needs a jacket, to how to begin transitioning to a raw food diet (you gotta talk to Karen if you are interested in raw). I can tell how passionate the people who work there are, and that they are like family to each other. Not to mention the selection of anything you could ever need for a pet!

Great selection of canned dog and treats but dont like new reward system. Their free case on certain brands worked great but I spend a small fortune for my shepherd who has allergies and have a credit of $4.00. Thats 1.5 cans after buying 7 cases. But the staff is great, he can have a great selection of food and treats so thats all that matters!

Extremely well trained, knowledgeable, and courteous staff. You can walk in and tell a random employee "I need seven bags of the Worlds Best Cat Litter baking soda variety" and theyll know what youre talking about, will go get it and bring it up front, and will carry it to your car for you.

Their store is well organized and they have a very large selection of things for cats and dogs, even beyond food. They have much smaller sections for small animals like rabbits or birds or reptiles. But I have found their pricing to be much cheaper than the larger pet stores.

I stopped in to do some late Christmas shopping and was extremely happy when I found out that had a great sale on toys and accessories. The gentleman at the front counter was great and very helpful with all of my questions. I will be back for sure !

Went in looking for low ash catfood. The sales person kept pushing the ones that included cranberries, having become convinced that my cat had a urinary track infection. A little too manic and nuts for me to put up with, so I left.
