Meh. I despise the concept of State-ran any private enterprise. Going in this place just reminds me of all the lies within the Utah constitution. "The State shall have no monopolies..." "The Church shall have no undue influence over the affairs of the State." This is a prime example of the State acting at the behest of the Mormon-minority, letting the Church have direct influence over our laws - and a State sponsored monopoly. However, the selection is decent and the prices arent as bad as one might expect.

Tiny beer selection and incredibly overpriced. A bottle of wine that costs $7 in any other state costs $20 here. For what you could buy a 6-pack for elsewhere, youll pay for one beer here. But this is more a complaint against the alcohol laws in Utah in general. As for this particular store, its clean, reasonably well stocked (wine and liquor), but its always incredibly busy. Expect to be there waiting in line for 20 minutes.

Being social is an important part of consuming alcohol. For most of the state liquor locations in Utah County they seem to forget that. This location seems to have the most friendly staff and the most knowledge on the product. When standing in line on days when they are not swamped with libation seeking patrons the cashier spends time chatting with customers during the checkout process.

A pretty good wine collection. A decent beer collection as well, though the DABC in Lindon used to be the best until a recent management change. Ones ability to find a decent selection is severely hampered by the DABCs arcane policy regarding distribution.

Not exactly close to provo but its right off the freeway and you wont have to fight throngs of people getting thru the store and parking is a breeze. Big and tidy, landscaped, and better selection.
