Im from out of town and Ive never been here before, so I didnt realize they closed in a few minutes. I didnt plan on sitting down, just grabbing a snack and drink and leaving. I was put off by their telling me that they had no food available while Im standing in front of a menu. Something prepackaged would have sufficed, but she said they "dont have anything but chips," and points in the general direction of a solitary shelf of potato chips. I know they want to leave and all, but dont treat me like an idiot. Telling me they serve nothing to eat "but chips," is bullshit. They reminded me again after I paid that they closed in "three minutes." I assured them I was taking my drink to go. If you say youre open, be open. If youre that bent out of shape to have to service a customer within your business hours, set different hours. I wasnt impressed. The smoothie was good. Nothing phenomenal, but it was cold, fresh, and the closest thing Ill be getting to anything edible from 8th Street Coffee House. *Supplemental on 9/4/16: I happened across this review today and was impressed by this companys response to this review. I really appreciate the time and thought put into the response. Although I still dont think the staff was particularly professional on that day, Im certainly willing to give this location another shot the next time Im in Wichita Falls. I also added a star to my original review.

Great place but be nice. Some mean chick in front of us was very rude to the girl behind the counter. "I want extra spinach......." then she told the lady cooking (as if that woman had time to listen to her crazy ass) that, "I tried to tell her what I wanted but you know so just cook it how I like it" and basically cut the girl behind the counter off. She didnt even name anything from the menu like the girl behind the counter is a mind reader. This mean chick was with a girl in scrubs who was probably embarrassed to be in public with this mean chick. Please be nice to these people. They work hard and put out a good product.

Meat Missile

The drinks were good but the place was really dirty. The air vents above the counter were literally covered with dust and looked like they havent been cleaned for months. There was also mold growing on the food in the display case under the counter. It was about a quarter sized amount of mold. Plus the wait staff looked like they were carrying too much while carrying food. I began to wonder if they ever did stuff like place food on top of other food while delivering it so they could carry it in one trip (I saw this at another restaurant).

My husband and I are visiting Wichita Falls from out of town. We found this wonderful place by accident. The environment of the 8th At Coffee House is completely warm and inviting. There are tables for 2, tables for 4, couches, comfortable upholstered chairs, bar stools, and every type of seating choice available. The service and food and drink are excellent. The coffees, smoothies, breakfast items, and flavored teas are great also.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops and has been for a long time. Luckily for them Wichita Falls doesn’t offer much competition as far as locally owned shops go, but even if there was, 8th street would still thrive. The coffee is by far the best in town, and the breakfast food items are a perfect match. I wish they were open a little earlier during the week because I would have gone almost every day I was in town!

Fortunate to have such a great coffee shop here in WF. They have an amazing variety of drinks and food for everyone and the prices are reasonable. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their products, their friendly, and they offer quick service once youve ordered. The line is always long, but its worth it. The atmosphere is also great with a very vintage feel. I cant wait until they expand their shop!

This place is awesome! From the food, to the decor, to the staff! My husband and I split the peanut butter and banana pancakes and the breakfast bacon avocado grilled cheese. I also had a green monster smoothie. We got there fairly close to opening so it wasnt super busy yet, but as we were finishing our meal, they had a pretty good line of folks. We will definitely be back soon!

Although the decorated cakes ARE beautiful.... in my opinion their cookies are even better! I love the beautiful decorated cookies that are made for various holidays. They have just the right tooth feel, not too soft, not too crunchy (GoldiLocks Approved). Ive never bought a cookie there that I didnt enjoy and Ive tried quite a few.

Amazing coffee. Basically no airmen from the base go here, very hipsters with awesome open mic nights on Friday. Food doesnt have a large selection, but its all great tasting to make up the difference. Definitely recommend that if you like coffee and youre in Wichita Falls that you spend some time here.

Passing through on my way back to Denver and so glad this place was here! Not quite craft coffee but good none the less. Atmosphere and service is awesome! Food is simple and yummy with prices you cant beat. Outweighs any franchise BY FAR!!! Good gob Wichita Falls! Keep this one around for sure ;)

Absolutely love this place! There is much more than coffee here. There is a daily special, cold drinks plus deserts. Very cool seating on couches, overstuffed chairs and traditional table and chairs. Do know the kitchen closes one hour prior to closing so be sure to place your order by then.

Giving 5 stars even though Im dissatisfied with the hours, I love everything else! Great artsy, eclectic but comfortable environment. Super tasty(best in WF IMO) food and amazing smoothies top it off and make this my favorite place to get lunch, coffee or a smoothie!

Coffee, smoothies, Sandwiches, pastries, environment, prices staff....all great. A diamond in the rough. Or atleast a very nice cubic zirconia. Its got all the shine at this shop! Even live music and gaming for those that want to hang out a bit. (At specific times)

Great service. Best service at any coffee place Ive been to in town. Great breakfast food. Very good coffee. Macchiato, house blend, Chai latter all at our table. All of them were very good. Will come anytime I have the time to roll over to this side of town.

Definitely my favorite place to eat in WF. So comfy and homey. It feels like Im back at home in CA. The food and smoothies are amazing, the best part is that they offer egg whites! Which not many places around here do.

Its disgusting and dirty, the furniture looks like it was fished out of a dumpster. Staff do not look presentable and my simple Mocha was all mocha no espresso and my milk was all nasty textured foam.
