I shot the 180* range, and the virtual range. First off, the 180* range is a honest waste of time. The screen is somewhat washed out due to the viewing windows, and the system does not react fact enough to register a hit to move to the next target quickly (shooting plates). The accuracy of the system BLOWS even after 3 calibrations, and its generally crap. As in, the size of the "bullet mark" is bigger than some targets, and it is not accurate or consistant. I walked out of it and asked for my money back, or time on the virtual range. Available guns are glock 22, beretta, or 870 pump. Apparently AR platform is coming. Apparently emailing results is coming. The virtual range has a glock 22 or a beretta. I shot over 2500 rounds im estimating in an hour. seriously. Its Co2 fed where the magazine is, so no reloads are needed minus more Co2. It feels like a real report the first 20-50 rounds, after that, the Co2 tapers off until it gets a mushy feel and FTXs...... so just swap out a mag and your off again. Virtual range seemed to be very accurate, and very good training for holster work. My arm and hands hurt from so much holster work. I havent drilled for an hour straight like that ever. I was sweating and never moving my feet lol Scenarios include various targets that can be "run" to 3-50 yards out. Zoom and clearing the target is available. Training scenarios include shooting "levels". Target is sideways, shooting 3 to the body, target turns again and one to the head. This goes out from 3 yards out to 50. I shot expert on level 1,2,3 but was unable to get better than advanced marksman.... mainly because the issue with the glock I was running, every couple hundred rounds you had to replace the Co2...... and inside that couple hundred rounds you will have 10 or so FTXs that require you to rack/tap the gun and mess with it to make it run again..... so your qualification suffers when it happens in the middle of the training session. Other scenarios are "small target" shooting, which is approximately a 3x5 card head shots, and some other basics. While I felt that its good for holster work if you run a glock 22 or beretta, it doesnt help me because I shoot neither. Plus I had to use their holster (left handed) that was a peice of crap SERPA holster. The button really screwed me up, but I was able to overcome that by the end of my 1 hour session in the virtual range. I felt that my holster draw and 4 count was improved due to the hundreds to draws I did today, and the amount of drills I was able to perform due to no mag changes (which I will have to do at the house), no reloading mags, and not waiting for a cold range/hanging paper.... you can just concentrate on shooting. Take the information as you will. I would only pay for this on tuesday (10 dollars for 1/2 hour on the virtual range) and NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on the 180 or 300 degree shooting ranges. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for someone who has never shot a gun to get used to the mechanics of the gun and a holster, plus it is relatively fun. I can see an experienced shooter using this if they shot a glock (with their holster, not the one provided) to make short work of your draw and count issues. While I felt that there should be an "advanced" system for competitive shooting that concentrates on drills for IDPA, there is more than enough for the standard person and general public to mess around and have fun with this. I feel that this can help out a lot with competitive shooters if they actually cater the virutal range to that area of people, but I doubt it goes there. In the mean time, there are lots of variations on how to shoot on their targets and whats provided.

So our experience started by driving an hour from Pearland on a friend of mines advice cause we couldnt find some things ive been looking for from Bass Pro Shop where I live. Store looked great for our first time there although my wife was freezing cold. Im putting together a new BOB so ive been looking for a lot of little things and proceeded to spend the next hour walking every isle checking prices, comparing to amazon, and picking up a few things i thought where really good deals. We were asked if we needed help a few times which was fine we didnt need help at the time. So as we go to check out for some reason we see 2 police officer walk in (no big deal), then i could here the cashiers walkie talkie go off and the cashier ask my wife to check her bag... Ok nothing to hide... let her check the bag, but then she preceded to tell us it was for our saftey and there saftey which began to not make sense. She gave excuss after excuss of why she had to check the bag but story kept changing, first it was company policy to check all bags in case she may be carrying, we asked ok if im carrying do i need to show you my weapon and she said yes but then changed it to no, told us about an older lady who was carring concealed in her purse and that they didnt want weapons going off accidentally in a bag. We kept asking questions about their policy cause it just didnt sound right to me. My wife got upset and let them know we werent stealing and went out side. My friend and I left behind her after paying for over $300 of stuff I could have gotten anywhere. Was nice to see the 2 constable cars parked right in front of the door and they were nice enough to follow us out and make sure we made it to the car ok. I happen to be prior military, was a Coast Guard boarding officer and been on hundreds of boarding / saftey checks so I understand right to privacy, concent to search, developing a reasonable suspension to obtain probable cause ect. For the last 10 years Ive been a retail store manager for large retailers like Circuit City and Sears and now a smaller company and would never ask a female customer to look in her bag unless I was 100% sure they where stealing and could prove it or set off some alarm somewhere. Unless this is the store policy to check every females bag entering and exiting the store and at that point I would like to see some signs posted that say that instead of making your customers feel unwelcome.

Do NOT COME HERE..... Absolutely zero knowledgeable customer service, or any kind of service for that matter. . Day 1 I come in to drop off my compound bow. I talk to 4 employees behind the counter, no one can help.me because the "guy" who can is "on break" I only need some basic answers like: PRICES they charge for compound bow work. Nothing technical just how much is it for different services you perform. The only answer I get is "we dont carry string in store, we have to order it and it may take 2-3 weeks to ship. I stay in the store for an hour! But no "guy" ever appears. I leave my name and number and ask for a call back so I can talk to this person directly. Two days go by: I have to call them. I actually get to talk to someone in the right department. I told him I have the string and cables and I go and drop off my compound bow for service. I decided to also purchase their "superior" cleaning and tuning option.(this point is important later) 10 days go by, 3 trips back to the store and 2 personally written messages for the tech to call me and a string drop off- which he claims he never received. 5 more calls that never were picked up or transfered properly. A "guy" who is always on break and never able to be found, and 2 string orders I had to make and pay for because they cant give me the correct lengths for my bow. I finally can go pick up my bow. Upon checking my set up, I see that there is no nock or d-loop installed, I ordered a d-loop and the peep was set, I talked to the tech and told him I would come in and he could properly set the peep to me, but of course, he was not at work that day. After 30 min, finally someone who says they can help me with installing a d-loop, I HAVE TO go behind the counter and tie the d-loop myself! Then he charges me for the service. This store is Terrible. Maybe if you just need something off the rack, then more power to you. The only positive experience I had was talking to one of the employees in the range, he was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable and I wish him the best.
