Our experience with Dulce Desserts and Juanita was absolutely wonderful! By the time we made it to the wedding day, I felt like Juanita was part of the family. My mom and I went on the first cake tasting and everything we tried was amazing, we had a hard time deciding what to choose. We narrowed it down to a couple of flavors and my then-fiancé and I went back for another tasting and decided on two cake flavors and icings. Juanita was very helpful and wanted to make sure we were both happy with the cake we decided on. She spent a lot of time with us while we sampled and was very helpful when it came to deciding on the cake size for our guest count. What I love about Dulce Desserts (besides working with Juanita!) is that the cakes are reasonably priced compared to other local bakeries AND they are delicious! We had so many compliments on the cake. I honestly cant say enough good things about our experience with Dulce Desserts!

Just wow is all I can say about this place and not in a good way. Let me explain why i could only give them 2 stars for my review. I have to be completely honest with this, the product they have is not half bad, BUT there is way better in the area, especially for the price. Now the real reason I had to give this place a low review is for the customer service. The employees seem more than helpful, but the owner Juanita, is straight rude, and talks down to you and that to me, becomes a reflection of the business. It was a big red flag when she realized she did nothing wrong, and i can only pray that she is not like this to her employees. So personally I do not like to be talked to like I am a child and or moron, and at that point I will take my business else where. If you like to deal with an owner who is beyond rude with a mediocre product, then Dulce is the place for you.

Juanita Lane and her talented staff are running the best bakery in town, bar none! We ordered our wedding cakes in 2013 and our friends are STILL talking about them three years later. Above the deliciousness, what keeps me coming back to Dulce is the people. Sitting down for a consultation, you immediately feel youre hanging out with friends. If youre a bride-to-be, trust me when I say Juanita is a culinary genius and you are in the BEST hands. Since our wedding, we have ordered three anniversary cakes, additional wedding and grooms cakes for another family member, several holiday pear cheesecakes (seriously though!), custom cookies and... oh, so many cupcakes. You will be hard pressed to find another bakery that will deliver sweet treats this good while being so helpful, friendly and personable. You have some sweet friends in your corner with Dulce. Two thumbs way up!

This bakery has literally the best cake and butter cream icing I have ever eaten. All of the cake flavors are moist, have a beautiful crumb, and amazing flavor. They arent overly sweet and never taste like artificial flavoring. My favorite cake flavors are chocolate chip and red velvet (the red velvet is a little different, but it is amazing!). All of their butter cream icing are light and creamy and again not too sweet. I dislike super sweet American style butter cream - think GiGis - so if that is your thing, you might not care for Dulces icing. But if you want creamy, delicious icing without cloying sweetness, they are they best. Also, their brownies, ginger snaps, and pecan short bread are equally amazing. Basically, I love their food and you should too!

Juanita and her team at Dulce Desserts are such a delight! I went to one bakery before coming to Dulce. The first bakery was really disappointing and didnt give me the cake tasting experience I had been excited for. Juanita took the time to really get to know my husband and I during our consultation and made us feel very special! We came in with a set budget in mind and in order to keep us under budget she suggested an alternative idea of doing a cake buffet rather than a traditional stacked wedding cake and I fell in love with the idea! Our wedding guest all raved about how beautiful they looked and how delicious they were! We got to have 5 different cake flavors which was amazing. I will be recommending Dulce to everyone :)

Dulce did the cakes for our daughters wedding last year and will be doing them for another family wedding soon. Everything was beyond delicious and the customer service was fabulous. We had a great time at our recent tasting for the upcoming wedding. Juanita was warm and friendly, and full of suggestions for how to work with a tight budget. I have had the most PHENOMENAL experience with Juanita Lane and her staff. The flavors Dulce Desserts produces are absolutely delectable, and the buttercream is positively inspired. Juanita is so very down-to-earth and fabulous, and I am ECSTATIC that she is creating the cakes for my wedding! You cant go wrong with Dulce Desserts, whether you need a cake for a wedding or party or are in the mood for a delicious dessert or snack of heavenly cupcakes!

Juanita is an artist. Everything from her cupcakes to her wedding cakes is done from scratch. But what I love about her is her honesty. She wont promise you anything she cant do, but with that being said, she can do just about anything and better than anyone else.
