Just visited the Oasis Package Store- 12/4/2015. It was the WORST customer service Ive ever experienced....and from the OWNER, Jerry Boatright, what a joke! Let me say, this isnt the first time hes been rude to me as I USED to be a repeat customer. Came in to buy some wine, liquor, etc...got up to the counter and gave my drivers license...the nice lady at the register noticed it was expired on the ID....so I provided my GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO hand gun license that didnt expire until 2020.....and of course, that wasnt good enough for him....which makes no sense at all. I informed them that my drivers license WAS actually current and I had both the email and print out confirmation to prove this. I was just going in to buy some wine, etc, not be investigated for murder!! So, trying to be understanding and patient since I dont know every rule in the liquor selling business, I drove home and grabbed my STATE OF TN Dept of Safety & Homeland Security Renewal Acceptance & Interim License "print out" that I was told to use if ever questioned or pulled over. It even gives a note to the officer to read if ever pulled over. Of course, when I got back to the liquor store, the OWNER was still a prick and wouldnt take this either. I had my expired photo drivers license, printout renewal from the STATE w/ ID# that matched my expired drivers license, VALID TN state issued photo hand gun permit ID....and the guy STILL wouldnt offer services to me. Quote "we dont take hand gun IDs here" and "thats how we do business around here". So I guess GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO IDS THAT ARENT EXPIRED ARE NOW NOT ACCEPTABLE TO CONFIRM AGE TO BUY ALCOHOL IN HIS STORE......what a COMPLETE JERK...and if this is how he treats his customers, Im sure hell be out of business soon if Kroger doesnt put him out first when they start selling liquor. Left the store as the owner told me I wouldnt be missed. THE BEST PART.....I go down the road to the next liquor store, first thing I ask when I walk in is if theyll take my legal documentation to prove my age.....and OF COURSE, they WOULD.....whats even more stunning is that they knew EXACTLY what I just went through. They continued to tell me that I wasnt the FIRST customer to come in that had just left The Oasis store that was TREATED like CRAP FROM THE OWNER. They said theyve had a ton of new business b/c of the prick down the street at Oasis. Well, they just earned a new customer and Ill NEVER go by Oasis Liquor Store again....AND Ill make sure to tell everyone I know how crappy the experience was and how the OWNER TREATED ME. Good Luck Oasis in BANKRUPTCY!!

So embarrassed. I worked until 6 o clock this morning. I knew I had to stop before I came home to get the liquor for the wedding and reception. I got there about 630 am and decide to take a nap. 8 o clock rolls around he shows up tells me he cannot sell me anything because I was sleeping in my truck. I have never been so mad in my entire life. This is not somewhere you want to shop. Avoid at all cost. Not to mention they have ripped me off before on the prices because they are the only liquor store on this side of Columbia. Will not be returning for anything in the world.

Great prices and good customer service. I used to use a different local store but I got there one morning before they opened. So I went down the road a little piece and there was Oasis. I have never returned to the other store...

By far my favorite liquor store in town, they have an amazing selection at good prices, as well as knowledgeable and friendly staff. Whenever theyre not busy I usually will hang out and talk to the owner.
