Searching for a new brunch/breakfast place we saw this and hopped in the car heading downtown - once we found parking, (still not sure we parked legally) we ventured in, first impression was good, quaint corner store with tables set up for cafe dining inside. No real clear direction as to what the process was but got over that quickly. Once we ordered and got seated things looked up....the iced coffee was good, not worth the price but that is an individual choice, the crepes were fantastic - my real issue was with the smoothie and the service, the smoothie was brought to the table and my daughter mentioned it was watery, I was busy with my crepe so didnt get around to her smoothie until after I was done, I tasted it AWFUL - should have been a Huger, mango banana, coconut lime, when the server/cashier/cook ask how things were I told him about the smoothie, which sat mostly untouched - his response "oh yea, were out of mango" - NO offer to replace the smoothie, NO offer of a refund for the $6 smoothie, NO "hey, were out of mango would you like to try a different flavor today?" REALLY PEOPLE!!!! Sadly I doubt we will go back - who knows what they will serve you if they are running low on a key ingredient -

Food was delicious, had the BYO salad, with greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, calamatta olives, shaved parmesean with ranch. The vegetables were fresh like they just came out of my garden. I also ordered the italian which came on fresh bread that would make you wish you had the whole loaf. If I had known the salad was going to be so large I would not needed the sammie, but glad I got it because it was quite tasty as well. Again the bread, wow. My wife had the Sullivan which thankfully she insisted I had to try. Thie crepe was so good I tried to talk her into trading lunches. Her advise to me, "next time get the Sullivan". Which I will as I plan to make this my new have to when I get to Charleston. So to crew thanks for a great meal and cant wait to have lunch with you again.

The Queen Street Grocery was recommended to us for breakfast by "The Captain" at Poogans Porch when we stopped before Poogans was open. The people at QSG were extremely friendly, and the food delicious. The food was basic good home soul food including breakfast sandwiches, wraps, crepes, and salads, however everything was made fresh with high quality ingredients. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect being in a small residential neighborhood shop, there was no fancy sign front or promises of great food to dupe you into entering, just the recommendation of another local business owner. The only advice I can offer QSG is to increase the coffee creamer selection to include some flavored options. That being said, if I ever come back to the Charleston area, I will definitely return.

I have spent many years of my life in the Low Country and I must say, Queen Street Grocery wrote the book on Southern Hospitality! Owned by Mary Wutz (gorgeous and charming), the store has been completely flipped in the past 3 years. She saw a staple of Old Charleston melting away and made it her mission to bring it back to what it is supposed to be. She cleared the shelves of cigarettes and high-fructose energy drinks, and loaded them with fresh organic produce and fine wine. The prices are all incredibly affordable, too! Do yourself a favor and stop in for one of their classic homemade low country sandwiches. You are sure to leave with a smile!

Just do yourself a favor and go there. Now! Youll be hooked, and whether you get the pressed Cuban sandwich or watch your crepe sizzling in front of you, you wont believe how this place sticks with you after you leave! I find myself in totally different locations around the globe wishing there was a Queen Street Grocery in every city! I wouldnt really want it to be in any place but Charleston though because I can claim it as my own! This is what home should feel like. :)

Stopped in as a traveler looking for an inexpensive breakfast option other than pastries. What a great off the beaten path spot! Friendly vibe with tons of food options: omelettes, crepes, sandwiches, smoothies, salads, you name it! No espresso machine but they do have coffee.

Great iced coffee- got mine with vanilla soy after a suggestion by lady who waited on us. Delicious breakfast sandwiches on the way to Folly beach. Only regret is that we didnt have time to go back and try more of the food. Very friendly and inviting.

Tiny, cute little bodega on Queen Street. Its a sandwich place with friendly staff that also sells wine and beer. Has very unique specials that always seem to sell out every day! This place is BOSS and you should definitely eat here :)

Good crepes and service was good. Would definitely work out of this place(didnt see if they had wifi or not) but it totally had that "hippie/indie" local small quaint feel to it.

The best omlet, boegarden with asparagus, red peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach! Yum! And they have tea from the Charleston Tea Plantation.

Great omelette- the El Che was phenomenal. The bathroom was really cramped and the only reason I didnt give this place a 5 star rating.
