It was not the associate who checked my order that was rude, but his superior. I went to gamestop days before to pre-order Destiny and asked two different associates things I should know before I buy the game. I was concerned about storage capacity and both associates neglected to inform me I would need a hard drive as apposed to my 32gb jump drive. When I went to the store to pick up my order the female working with my cashier told me I would need a hard drive which is something two other associates did not tell me. Now I must spend an additional $100 on a hard drive because I have already put the money down for the game. I decided to leave and think about spending that much money and came back not 20 minutes later to pick up the game when I overheard the female associate telling customers to make sure they have a hard drive because she had to "be the bearer of bad news to a customer already" and continued to say to another customer "you already know more than that customer (me) did". I was not 5 feet from this associate as she said it and did not even recognize me. I am disappointed that no associate I asked told me the problems when I specifically asked the question and then is made a joke of by another associate right to my face to other customers. I have been a customer for over 15 years when gamestop was still eb games. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years and always made gamestop my primary for anything game or system wise. I will not be coming back to this gamestop anytime soon and will tell anyone that listens not to return.
