Small selection, cramped store, poorly organized. No greeting or offer of assistance. Take an extra 5 minutes to go to the Second Reading II down High St. Its much more roomy, has a better selection, well organized, and the staff is very friendly. Two ladies were sorting books the afternoon that I visited, and both were more than willing to chat and help me find what I needed. They didnt have the specific book that I wanted out in the store, but the one lady went to the back and pulled one out. It wasnt out front because the condition was pretty shaky. It was a hardcover of a popular book that was clearly worn. They sold it to me for $1. I was extremely happy with the experience, and I will be going back... and I doubt Ill leave with just one book. Second Reading II would get a 2 on quality, 3 on appeal, and 3 on service. I wish I could say the same about the store on Church Street.

This is a wonderful place to find affordable used books. I love that I can purchase a pile of books for a few bucks. The limited space and the mess in the store are part of the charm!!
