Man, not sure what the last review was talking about, but I have invested hundreds of dollars in tattoos here. The shop is professional, friendly, and reasonably priced. The artists there take pride in there work, give guidance when selecting a tattoo and capitalize on their decades of expertise. When selecting a tattoo there is a level of maturity and clear knowledge that is needed when having a lifetime mark on your body. Jeff and Dan will guide anyone, without prejudice or negative criticism, and suggest what will work and what may not. It is totally up to the individual to make the final decision in getting a tattoo. I will continue to get work done at SST because I am proud of the work done and the professionalism put forth at the shop and with the professional artists, Jeff and Dan. Before selecting a shop and tattoo, choose a location, visit the shop and decide for yourself. Its only then that you will be able decide what is right for you. The beauty of a tattoo is thought of in the recipients eyes and its the artist who will bring the recipients tattoo to life. A well thought out tattoo will be beautiful in the eyes of a recipient. Visit the shop for yourself and make a decision for yourself. For the portfolios, knowledge and success the shop has, it is truly a gem in the Philadelphia suburbs. I will def return to Seven Stars in the future no matter where I may live in life.

I had an amazing experience with my 2 friends on Friday the 13th. We were looking to get spontaneous tattoos and nobody was doing their "13 for $13" special for whatever reason. Last place to call and ask, we called Seven Stars and Jeff, even over the phone, gave off amazing vibes, told us to stop by, and even though there is a normal, consistent $60 minimum, he knew how much my friends and I were riding off of our adventure, and took us regardless of price, which he didnt have to do (on his day off I might add), and he did an amazing job. He let us pick our own ideas even though for "13th" deals technically you would be choosing from a sheet of random designs. He was incredibly entertaining, funny, welcoming, and laid back. I love my tattoo and I know that my friends feel the same. We left his shop completely satisfied, in awe that we got so lucky, and just genuinely happy that we were able to find such a cool tattoo artist that really did us a huge solid. Overall, it was a great day. So, to Jeff- if you see this- thank you so much. You were rad as hell and we were- and still are- totally appreciative.

Despite what Tyler Logan wrote, I have nothing but good things to say about Seven Stars. I have known Jeff for 5+ years, throughout a few of the different shops hes worked at and he has always come through with quality work. Jeff takes his work very seriously and provides professionalism in every aspect. Seven Stars is a clean, well put together shop, with two experienced artists that wont break your bank. My most recent tattoo with Jeff took a little over 5 hours. Majority of it was spent drawing and double checking that I was getting the tattoo that I wanted. Not once was I rushed or my requests not met. Jeff takes all forms of creativity and ideas and adds his flair to create fantastic work. I would and still recommend Seven Stars to all my tattooed and non tattooed friends. If you want a great tattoo go to Seven Stars, hang out, chat with people and you will easily see that this places kills it.

I lost my mom almost 3 years ago to her second battle with cancer. Upon her passing I knew I wanted to get a tattoo in her memory. I was having trouble finding a tattoo artist that could do what I was looking for... Until I linked up with Dan from Seven Stars. Our kids go to preschool together and I approached him about doing a tattoo for my mom and showed him what I wanted. When I went the day of my appointment and I saw what he had come up with I was FLOORED. It was absolutely beautiful & I couldnt wait to see it completely finished. Dan was funny and so was his apprentice, Kyle. They made me completely at ease and we listened to music and joked around. My tattoo came out more perfect than I could have ever imagined and it captures the memory I wanted of my mom perfectly. My husband is actually going back Monday night for his first tattoo from Dan. And Ill be going back again and again. ❤️

Very displeased about the service I have received at Seven Stars. They rushed my tattoo. I called them back after i left and just told Jeff how i felt about my experience and in return got really upset because he couldnt take criticism, i did not ask for my money back but he told me during the phone call to return to the shop to receive my money , which i did ten minutes later to find out that he was not there. ON tuesday My Dad and I went to the shop where he told My dad and I that he Lied about giving my money back right to our face. Also during the tattoo visit, he did not ask for my ID and ask me to sign a consent form which is very much illegal. During the experience was very unpleasant because Jeff talked about he genitals to his co workers making me very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Tattoo artists at Seven stars give tattoo artist a bad reputation.

My experience as well as several of my friends experiences at seven stars have all been amazing; and of course thumbs and kudos goes out to Jeff and Dan!!! They provide a really engaging experience with their shop. They are super respectful, unapologetically themselves, with inviting attitudes and just a kick ass shop to hang out at. It has this big comfy couch as you walk in with a coffee table full of tattoo photo albums. It has these provocative shelves and walls filled with gallery art and just some really funky stuff. Last time I was there I got my hands on some WOOL FELTED SOAP. So point stated, not only are they kid friendly, they are super cleanly as well! I admire these guys for their appreciation of and dedication to, every single form of art you could possibly imagine; including the art of communication. What a dope shop

First off I want to say how personally I never listen to reviews or write a review but with Seven Stars Tattoo my experience was so awesome that I wanted to write a review. I love the atmosphere in the shop and Jeff is awesome, down to earth, and does a hell of a job. From here on out I will go to Jeff for all my tattoos and I would refer anyone to go see Jeff. His prices are very reasonable and they put the time and effort into your tattoo. I have refered a couple of people already to Seven Stars Tattoo and i will definitely continue referring people here. I have seen Jeffs work on my own tattoo and my uncles tattoos and the work is excellent

Seven Stars is amazing! Getting a tattoo isnt just about getting the ink, its the whole experience of getting it and Jeff sees that part through. When you walk into the shop for the first time, you instantly become like family! My friends and I come almost exclusively to Seven Stars. I will admit I have gone elsewhere since coming here the first time , but I wish that I had not because it is such a great experience at Seven Stars! I suggest Seven Stars to everyone I talk to who is thinking about getting a tattoo. If you are looking for a shop to go back to for multiple tattoos or just for one, Seven Stars is the perfect place for you!
