The coffee is amazing!! We are regular customers and drive about 1.5 hours to get it. It is a delightful drive and a great reward at the end. Also the peanuts are wonderful! The coffee easily earns a 5 star rating, customer service earns the LOWEST rating possible! However there are a few things that should be addressed... 1. The owner and family do not appear to appreciate their customers...and just-in-case you didnt get that from their attitude, there there are many wall signs eluding to the stupidity of the customers. 2. NO one is friendly...basically if you are expecting some of the old town/country charm, it isnt going to happen here. 3. NO coffee is served...and at our first visit I was "stupid" enough to ask and was taken back at the sharp tone of the owner....wow....you can purchase it just dont ask for a cup of coffee. Once again, the coffee is amazing...just brace yourself for the friendly (NOT) greeting. Even when you purchase $50/75 (or more) dollars worth of goods, you dont even get a thank you, have a nice day...nothing....you know your time is up as the clerk shifts their eyes to the next customer!

Great spot to find a wide variety of original & decaf coffee & tea. Kenyan, Rwandan, Sumatran, Honduran, Guatamalan, European, Javanese, you name it, they probably have it. The cool think is that they have sample packets (maybe 3oz?) for 1.25 each, or 10 for 10. We have been there on a few occasions, Im surprised that I didnt hear of this place sooner, what with all the amazing Yelp reviews. Dont forget their roasted peanuts, which are worth a bag of. It also has a basic, humble selection of asian groceries. Rice, kimchi, soy sauce, frozen rice paper wrappers, spices, etc. All pretty much the generic sort, it is labelled "South East Asian Grocer" in the front window. Worth a stop.

Pretty much your only option for fresh roasted coffee in Franklin County. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly. They offer various flavors, decaf and organic coffee. Their unflavored coffees are where it is at. K-cups are available if you use them. They offer some teas, peanuts (roasted in same roaster as coffee) and a small selection of Asian groceries. They do not offer prepared drinks for sale in the store.

I was very impressed! I got buck wheat pancakes w/ maple syrup! Where else can you go and get buck wheat pancakes?? They use lots for organic and locally bought foods! And for $2 you can get a bottomless cup of greencastle coffee roasters coffee! the environment is cozy and pleasant. I highly recommend pure and simple cafe!
