State stranglehold monopoly gives us this one and only option to purchase liquor with no competition allowed. I was told that California has a higher cost of living than PA but at least in the case of my favorite KY bourbon it is 22.99 a half gallon there instead of 34.99 and i have several options with more convenient hours. I was going to leave one star but they did finally add Sunday hours here and promised not to be required to be closed on holidays. I am not sure if it had anything to do with me pointing out these facts most every time i shopped there because i kept getting the "We are just doing our job or We cant do anything about it" from the manager. Well i did what i could about it, signed petitions and spoke to lawmakers and to them about the issue. Maybe it was coincidence or maybe the squeaky wheel got the grease so keep griping all you folks about the gouging prices and lack of competition and maybe PA will finally join the modern era. Also the place is very clean and kept well stocked.

I loved that this store was open on Sundays and now suddenly they arent any more... My husband drove over 15 mins just to go there only to find out that they are not open Sundays anymore.
