Im REALLY HAPPY to see that the BICYLE RENT SHOP & The BAIT & TACKLE Shop is STILL OPEN. Its NOW known as the "NORTH PARK SPORTS SHOP" located at the INTERSECTION of E. INGOMAR RD & KUMMER ROAD. When I was in Elementary School, My Dad would take me out to NORTH PARK & while he went fishing, I would rent a bike & ride AROUND "NORTH PARK LAKE". The Owner was KIND OF A WEENIE & He wanted to know where I was riding the bike & WHY I was riding AROUND THE LAKE. He ALWAYS TRIED to get me to RENT A PIECE OF GARBAGE, But I stood firm & said that SINCE IM PAYING, I WANT A GOOD BIKE to ride. After awhile A NEW EMPLOYEE was HIRED & HE WAS NICE & AGREEABLE & he let me PICK OUT A BIKE that I liked. After that happened, My Dad PURCHASED A NEW SCHWINN BICYLE FOR ME & I didnt have to worry about RENTING USED & ABUSED Bikes anymore. But, I did appreciate the "NORTH PARK SPORTS SHOP" for the FEW YEARS that I did go there to rent their bikes. Another item from there, My Dad purchased his WORMS & OTHER LIVE BAIT there. He was HAPPY w/ the bait that he purchased there.

The gentleman in the bicycle repair shop took the time to really help me and provide quality service without looking to make a profit. I was genuinely impressed with his kindness. He helped me put a bicycle seat on my bike for free. This store will definitely be seeing business from me

Down home local business. The best kind of place to spend your money. They guy who runs the shop is exceptionally good with customers. And he has a great supply of rental bikes for those who only want to ride now and then.

They are closed all winter until end of March or early April even though North Park lake is a year round trout lake.

You have multiple options to rent different bikes at fair rates. Just dont count on the owner to he friendly
