I came in Saturday night the 11th of June 2016. A guy named Anthony (not sure if that is his name) and a girl working there treated me very poorly. Mostly the guy and i bought Battlefield 4 (PS4) used $25. And he was very rude during the purchase and i felt bullied. The girl was sitting on the counter and seemed very un professional. And I questioned the price of the game and he came off very rude about it. So i purchased the game. 10mns later i went to Gamestop and they had the same game used for around $11. I went back to Buybacks in salem Oregon. About 30mns or less after the initial purchase and they both treated me poorly saying they wont return the gamr. Not even for in store credit. Anthony thentold me very aggressively to deal with it and its my problem not his. So i left the game and receipt there. I strongly advice anyone in Salem Oregon or the surrounding areas not to purchase anything from this store!!! It seems like the people at this location need to be trained better or need to find better employees. I did call other locations & they both said they at least would of swapped it out for another game or store credit....its unfortunate that the only location in Oregon is ran this poorly. I was told the manager wasnt avaible and she was on vacation with NO day or time given to me to talk with her. Seems like the employees are taking advantage of her being gone. The fact that other stores would of done a game swap or in store credit for the value of what i spent with the returm of the game tells me that the Salem Oregon location needs some investigating by the corporate offices. Not happy how i was treated & because of this wont go back with out a apology and the situtaion taken care of. So if you want to be treated like crap & taken advantage of by poor employees go ahead and go i guess. BTW: i will email this to the corporate office & the manager. And Ill be posting this message on other media forums and craigslist & etc...

Employees arent knowledgeable. I took in a couple games to get cleaned, both had the Xbox ring. One turned out perfectly fine. Another was scratched and grinded down in the core plastic. The place that is also known to hold all of the data on the disk. They noticed this and didnt charge me anything, still I think it should take someone that Knows how to work a buffer to buff a game. Aside from my unpleasant visit I decided to take a look around the shop. I was disappointed to see that for the very small selection of movies and video games, they are highly overpriced. The employees dont pay attention to their customers as they are too busy conversing with each other or on their phones playing flip flop bird.

Horrible customer service - they would rather talk to each other than help someone - terrible lighting - horrible smell - and some prices that make me laugh - I can go down the street to fye and get the same film for much less and for video games cross the street to the mall and just go to Gamestop - I have NO plans on ever going back to this store even though we dont have many used dvd/blu ray stores here I will still avoid this place like the plague.

I had been searching for a game for MONTHS, couldnt find it/buy it ANYWHERE...we happened to go here on a trip for homecoming dress shopping and I decided to ask. Guess who has their game now. Absolutely astonished that they were able to retrieve it from their store in Vancouver for only $44.11, this is for shipping AND handling as well! Best store to buy games from.

For a movie lover, this place is awesome, though it can be super spend-y. The return policy is a bit harsh on games, so be careful when you purchase those, but if you are a lover of old formats, special editions or getting a cheap B-movie, this is a super awesome place. Also, if you need to clean out your dvd or vhs racks at home, they pay cash for what they can take.

I saw this place lose so much business. Not customers fault at all but they had only one person working and the lady who was being helped getting probably 100 DVDs fixed. The guy decided to do this for over an hour and every purchasing customer walked out. At least $500 in business due to lack of management. Unless you got the afternoon dont go.

I took my game of thrones season 2,3, and 4 back to sell to them. I bought them from them not 2 months earlier. They offered $3.35 for the three seasons total. What a rip off and ridiculous considering I just bought them for $30 each. Now Im not expecting a ton but at least $ 7-10 a season

Beyond route to Veterans especially when one is disabled they throw 95% of the stuff out and the manager shes from Back East complete and total which not worth the time and if you take your stuff in save your sanity stick it on Craigslist or another site but do not go there.

Wow! They have really turned their customer service way up! Super friendly staff who help you find what you want. I always get greeted and thanked. Amazing prices and even more amazing inventory. Probably the best buy in prices I have found in town as well.

Fun store to shop in! You can always find a rainy day activity here relatively cheap in fact youll probably find an armload of entertainment with prices similar to Amazon except you get it now and dont have to pay 3.99 for shipping or prime! Check it out

2 out of the 3 times Ive been here, including today, I received HORRIBLE customer service. The clerks would rather look at questionable content on their workstations then assist paying customers. Im done there. Go to FYE instead.

Huge selection of Blue Ray, DVD, games. Most have Great prices, some are way to high for used merchandise. 5 Stars though, best place to buy.
