The other day I was using the fitting rm. and the nicest employee helped me. As I was getting dressed I could hear speak to other customers with the same positive, helpful attitude. Today I went to Walmart , found a cute outfit to try on. The fitting room attendant was negative but what was really awful was the way she spoke about managers. I asked if she could hold my outfit and I would come back to get it after I finished my shopping . Employee said she wasnt allowed to put things on hold. Due to the fact that a lot of people do not come back to pick up their clothes. I reassured her that I would come back. ( Which I did) she couldnt put my outfit on hold. I said thats strange because another employee held my outfit before? Only until store closed. This employee today replied with, " Our managers have different instructions regarding putting clothes on hold." Some say yes and others say no. I thought wow I cant believe this employee is talking bad about management to me a customer. Not friendly and had poor work ethics. I wish the other young lady was working today. The cashier in cosmetics was very nice, calm and pleasant!

VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.. I went to purchase diapers for my daughter I did self check out , I paid with a $100 bill, the self check out machine only gave me back $10 , I got help from a older lady who works at the self check out stand, I told her the machine didnt give me back my entire change which was $60.. the lady paged the manger which her name is NORMA, a fuller lady. NORMA took 20 minutes to come help me out.. the lady at the self check out stand paged her at least 3 times and Norma took her sweet time to come, It wasnt busy at all so I dont see why she would take 20 damn minutes to come help me get my change back.. when Norma finally got to the self check out to help me she didnt even offer a apology, she gave me a grins as if she didnt want to help me out . Im not sure why. I would of say something but I do not like to be rude and start problems with anybody .. wasted 20 minutes of my time .. me and the lady ( the self check out helper ) timed from the time she first paged her , till the time she got there .. EXACTLY 20 minutes for Norma to help me .. Norma is very unprofessional and shouldnt be a manager at alll .

I can see why Wal-mart is so cheap price wise - you hire morons and I rather pay more money for my good and get decent customer service elsewhere! I went into this store on 6/26/11 @ approx 9am. The Manager on Duty, Chris McClure, was unprofessional, rude and lacks people or managment skills. I will never spend another penny at any Walmart store. And to the Customer Service women that was working sporting goods on this morning, you also need some training in customer service. Never appropriate to scream at a customer from across departments that the reason one of your fellow employees didnt stop to speak with me when I asked for help was because "Hes deaf, and cannot hear you" I dont care if your deaf, blind, dumb, or ignorant if you work somewhere and a customer asks for your assistance you should stop and at least motion that you are hearing impaired...after all you are a representative of your employer! KMart, Target, Big Lots, Fred Meyers, ETC will get my money from now on. Never again Walmart!!!

I find this stores security HIGHLY OFFENSIVE& recommend to STAY AWAY unless you approve of PROFILING& HARASSMENT of customers! I understand checking peoples receipts at the door if you are suspicious or SEEN them take something with our OWN eyes. But when i go to this Wal-Mart on two different occasions and I get stopped at the door and told to produce a receipt and BOTH times by the same guy it starting to piss me off. The second time i stayed &watched as he let 4carts right behind me go out the door without checking ANYONE ELSES!!! This is after the door guy seen me walk from the register with the receipt in my hand to the door. I will not be returning to this store& i will tell my friends&family of these incidents &advise them to stay away from these stores. If you want to catch thieves then pay ATTENTION to them INSIDE of the store instead of SHAKING DOWN people at the door HOPING to catch a thief!!!

Its easy to find what your looking for. There is help from associate on the next aisle. Know one is rude and all are helpful. About a month ago I was having trouble breathing a hard time walking. All the electric carts were used. Unfortunately Im not able to walk around the store like I use to. So told my Best Friend ,I would be waiting for up front. About half way one of the associate ask me if I was ok , she ask me if she could get me a cart. I said please, she went to get it, but I knew there werent any. So I walk up by the cash register at the same time she was coming with a chair. There is a bench where register 13 is I sat down, she ask if need water, I said I do but no money, she turned and went to me a bottle of cold water. That is the first time anyone every helped me in any other store. Thank you very much for Walmart.

This past Christmas I purchased a TV from Walmart Clackamas Oregon. Shortly after I started having problems with the TV. When I went into the store I was told they only exchange within 90 days keep in mind it was for Christmas so it sat under the tree and was purchased in early November. At this point I was fine with this just help me get it to the manufacture. It has now been 4 months later the manufacture will still not return my calls and the store will not help me either. The only thing that I can do is no longer shop at Walmart hoping that the simple fix of a $500.00 TV will cost them much more over time I have also with the help of social media told all my friend of this story asking them to just not shop as well Clackamas Walmart needs to take a close look at how they treat there customers.

If you must go to Walmart, this is your best bet in Southeast. This is the smaller of the two Walmart stores located on 82nd Avenue in the Portland area. Despite its compact size, this location is better. Better management. Better employees. Overall a much better shopping experience than the nightmare of incompetence and apathy being played out at the location on Holgate day after day. Its still Walmart, so dont expect youll be treated like royalty. But at least youll have a shot at getting an employee to answer the phone during business hours. Or get an appropriate response to a question you ask instead of the blank "And so what?" that so easily falls from the mouth of the slackjawed assistant manager, Nicholas over at the 82nd & Holgate store. And if you dont believe me, I have video.

I dont know what most these people are talking about I shop this store because its close to my home. Its always been clean I see the same people who have work there for some time. I have always been able to get help if needed. The checkers have always been friendly ask if I found everything I was looking for. I guess if you go to a place expecting the worst thats what you get. Show people some respect you get respect back. There are other companies out there that dont do the best for there employees either. They do the best with what they have to deal with.i dealt with the public for 23yrs belive me its not a easy job. So lighten up & enjoy life. Keep up the work employees of Clackamas walmart.
