The new (Ive neve seen her before) blonde pharmacist has horrible customer service! I went in to pick-up prescriptions yesterday due to the fact I received phone calls that my prescriptions were ready (or atleast one). She couldnt find them, so she asked me questions about my identity. I couldnt hear her well because she was very quiet (Im young--no hearing issues). I asked her what she asked (my middle initial) because I didnt hear her. So she replied in a very sassy/insinuating I was stupid voice, "middle initial, as in your middle name." She couldnt find my prescriptions, and so she said in a rude tone/raised her voice, "Youre going to have to get these tomorrow, I dont have time to get these ready." I was very polite and started to say "Oh I understand its almost closing time. I just thought I had medications ready, so I was just going to pick them up." She cut me off saying "Yeah, yeah, yeah, thats all fine" and shooed me away basically. Whenever I tried to say something she cut me off, and said something to hurry me away. She has no idea what customer service is, and should learn. Usually the other staff are nice, and helpful. Picking up prescriptions already is something Im not a fan off, but I dont need sass for no reason from a pharmacist. Ive worked in retail for almost 4 years, and never have been rude. Needless to say, Ive never insulted a customer about their intelligence because they couldnt hear what I said. The only reason Im not giving a zero is because usually the other staff are polite, and helpful.

The only reason this store is still open is its proximity to campus and Southtown and the fact that the City begged them to keep it open. The corporation intended to close it, seeing as they have two other (new) stores in town but the next nearest supermarket is better than two miles away, that being Market of Choice. Trader Joes is not a supermarket, not in the real world. So... the typical customers are oblivious, self-absorbed students or people pissed off because they are in a hurry and that store is the only option. That rubs off on the staff.

This is the worst Safeway in the Corvallis area. If you live close, I would suggest wasting the gas to get to another grocery store. Lines in the queue reach 5 people consistently. Their meat, bakery, and produce selection are pathetic/appalling. Clerks are unhelpful and look like they hate working there. The smell from the front of the store, due to the bottle returns, burns the nostrils. If you are desperate, I would suggest the Dairy Mart across the street instead.

Terrible service, lousy selection compared to other Safeway stores. This should have been dismantled 20 years ago when they started phasing out the old mini-Safeways. The checkers are slow, theres no self checkouts, or meat dept. Theyre there to take money from OSU students, which is fine I guess, but really estate is valuable in our cute little downtown areas, & were blowing a full city block on a store thats not an asset. Tear these walls down.

Poor Service, not sure how they pay their staff but it seems like there is no motivation for them to do better. Also noticed people get constantly trained and replaced. So might be a management issue. Just a store to rip off the college students. Im trying to avoid it but times sometimes does not allow me to go somewhere else. I recommend Trader Joes to everyone.

I really dislike Safeway. I dont like their club card system. I dont like their prices. I dont like their beer selection. I dont like their customer service. I dont like their nasty produce. Winco, Market of Choice, and even Albertsons are far better choices. Just my rant!

I went to rent a rug doctor from this safeway, they gave me one with sand in the tank. I pointed it out and they said its ok, when I returned it the next day they tried to charge me a cleaning fee because the sand was still in it. More trouble than dealing with Uhaul. >:(

An old lady who seems to always work as cashier at the express checkout line is really rude to me every time I go. My most recent visit fared better as she was not there, and a customer service guy helped us redeem a $10 coupon after checkout.

Ive been going there for years, and am always pleased by the staffs helpfulness. They are not the cheapest, but for the employees are very helpful and take all the confusion out of pharmacies!

Phone in to see that I could pick up medication at 2pm. They said yes it will be ready for pickup. Guess what. I could not pick it up and had to leave on a trip without it!

A friend of mine bought one of their store brand Pizzas on sale. It was great except for the taste. The dog didnt even want any of it. However none of us got sick from it.

I go out of my way to shop someplace else. Long lines, low quality, and poor service.... all at convenience store prices. At least its never crowded.
