hi, I been a loyal customer of this store for decades, I send there my all family and friends , the reasons? the price and the service, service was honest and great. I was there Friday to purchase 2 new front tires, the same as I had, so it would match the set in the back that were all purchased there few years back. I was willing to make an appointment since I noticed the tires situation when I come out of the grocery store and I had some items that need refrigeration, but Tony informed me that he could take care all in less than 1hour, so I put my refrigerator items in my portable cooler and waited, when the car was ready I cheek in a hurry the 2 new tired and left, as soon as I got home and went from the trunk to the front of car with my grocery on hand I noticed that the front tires were NOT matching the back ones, they have totally different treads. so I call the store, Art answer and informed me that Tony was not available, Art then inform me that the company did not make those tires any longer and those that they install were comparable. here is my thing WHY NO ONE TOOK 2 SECONDS TO INFORM ME OF THAT before they install the tires in my car AND LET ME DO THE CHOICES OF WHAT TIRES I LIKE INSTALLED IN MY CAR, INSTEAD OF MAKING THE CHOICE FOR ME???? SHOULD HAD NOT THAT BEEN MY CHOICE ALONE TO MAKE?? when I call back to talk to Tony, 10 minutes from when I left the store, he try to tell me that it was not communicated clearly, to witch I responded that is not that was not communicated clearly, IT WAS NOT COMUNICATED AT ALL. both Art and Tony presented themselves as assistant managers, so no one new that need more training. and the only thing that they come up with was buy back tires too, that I do not need , and no discount was offered of any kind to make up from their mistakes. if this is the new way they do business now I will have to think if this was a mistake overlook or if the service really change before me or my family would go back. it is pretty sad that customer service is no longer a priority and that no one hold up to their mistakes . I have different kind of tires in my car and yes, it bother me, as much as it bother me that I was not informed and given the choices, that should had been mine alone, of what kind of tires to install in MY car. I need to say that this what happen Friday. after this review customer service had Mr Harper contact me , he was very professional and efficient, took care the situation and follow up to everything greatly . he made an appointment for me with Art at the same store that I was on the Friday , when I went Art was professional and the all experience was great, as I was accustom to expect for the last few decades of me and my all family and expended family doing business at this store. . Oliver was awesome too when he brought my car out and reassured me on all the work performed. mistakes happen, we all do them, what we should look is how people handle the mistakes once done, and let me tell you this Discount tires store handle the all situation fantastically. I will go back when needed, my all family will and I WILL RECOMAND IT TO ANYONE THAT IS IN NEED OF TIRES SERVICE. ask for Art, you will have a great professional experience.

A free repairing trip ends up big bill. When I called them for my a year old cars tire having a coming and going low pressure indication. I was told they repair it free and it is just two blocks away from where I live. Right after I stepped in the store, the story has changed. They cant fix it and has to be replaced. Never believe free. I would like to have Les Swab to have a look before making a decision or simply go back to Toyota dealer. I was told they will do it for $50. When I was hesitating for it, they added another $42 for three additional tire certifications for life time warranty for any damage of free repairing and replacement. This was something they have trying to sell me right after I stepped into the store. I thought this must be too good to be true and rejected repeatedly and told them it has to be a decision made by my husband. Anyway they put it on my bill with the warranty police printed on back of the receipt. I told them, I am not going to pay it unless my husband wants them . So I only paid $25 deposit for a new tire and leaved tire in the store, it will let they can order a new tire from Goodyear. It turns out that the warranty certification policy is a limited one for only three year or tire ware out to 3/8 and will not cover any accidents etc, etc ,etc. What is covered by their warrant is already covered by my new car manufacture warranty. Their warranty will not benefit us much and also are too expensive. We usually dont get that much tire repairing or replacement within three years. When my husband later came in and asked them to take the certification charges out off our bill, the service personal told us that the deal I got e based on sells of those certifications, otherwise the cost of our replace tire will be $275. I told him no. The fact is that I was going to Les Swab instead of let him work on my tire and I have never agreed to buy those certifications. I asked them take four certifications out off our bill or we will leave. Finally they agree us to take four certifications out our bill but without telling us we have been charged another item of $7.50 on the bill for reinstall pressure sensor back to tire. I dont know if I really get a tire replacement or not. I dont feel this tire replacement is necessary for a new tire on a new car. I brought our car to Costco last night for look. We was told it can be fixed but Costco does no fix outside tires. I totally lost trust on American tires. I am afraid I cant recommend it to any one.

I was very impressed with the staff and service from the store on 18643 NW Eider Ct, Beaverton OR 97006. Recently I noticed that my front left tire was severely worn down to the white cords on the inside portion of the tire. While at work I called Americas Tire and spoke to AJ and he said I would be able to get the tire I wanted the next day which was great. After work I stopped by the store to see if I had to prepay for the tire and AJ took the time to double check the size of the tire and the condition. After he saw the near failure condition of the tire he graciously offered to put on a loaner tire so I could go to work in the morning and stop by the store on the way home to have the new tire installed. Let me say I was going to gamble with my safety by driving on that dangerous tire because I could not afford to miss neither work nor a days pay. Having this loaner tire saved me a lot of grief and probably kept me from having an accident. Before I gave AJ the keys to install the new tire I told him how Corvettes have specific jacking points and I wanted him to use special jacking pucks that I had with me to place on the underside of the car to prevent damage to the fiberglass body. AJ got down on his hands and knees and closely watched how to use these jacking pucks and made sure they were used to lift the car. This personable service assured me that good people were going to work on my car and it made me feel at ease and confident that the job was going to be done right. The store at Eider Ct had a clean and comfortable waiting room, with multiple bays and new equipment, and well staffed with uniformed employees to reduce waiting time. But what will make me come back to this store is employees such as AJ and Cory who take pride in their work and make customer satisfaction priority number one. I will gladly recommend this store to family, friends and fellow Corvette enthusiasts who are always looking for a quality shop to work on their cars.
