This is one of the last true pawn shops left if you are looking for a real pawn experience this is your place these men are not rude but are from a dying breed of great business men who are expert in the art of trade. If you are unfamiliar with the art you should go here and see how its done. These are good hard working people whom are expert in this art. Do not confuse the art with rudeness you will walk out the door with handshake and a warm invitation to return again.

Some of the rudest old dudes I have ever came in contact with. I asked a simple question and was talked down to like I was a stupid child. And what Ive read in the other reviews it looks like other people had a similar experience. What the hell is so hard about being nice? I guess if I was in my 70s still working at a pawn shop Id be pretty miserable too. Ill gladly go to Bass Pro and pay a bit more more for a new gun than go back here and be treated so poorly.

Bought my Springfield .45 online and used them as my FFL $15 cheapest in town. Also MUCH better customer service than Dongs, and any other place Ive been to within the Greater Tulsa area. Anyone looking for a friendly, non-rushed, non-idiotic attitude type of place, I definitely would recommend Second Hand Rose.

I love John, he is professional, helpful, and fair on his prices. Sold me my first gun. A H&K 40 USP. I like talking to the old hippie gun nut too! He has a wealth of information. I like second hand rose much more than Dongs!

Nothing like standing at the gun counter and being completely ignored for 15 minutes. There were only 6 workers for the 1 other customer that was before me so I guess I can understand that they were slammed.
