My wife and I have visited the Bullet Ranch several times over the past two years. The first thing we noticed entering the establishment was how clean it was kept. Not only is the showroom and shooting range well-kept, but the classrooms and restrooms are better kept then most high end stores. The stigma of a good old boys club does not apply here. The Bullet Ranch is a very family friendly environment that I have no problem bringing my three boys there to shoot. For the adults and children that do not wish to shoot, but still want to watch, the viewing room is available with plenty of seating and vending machines for snacks. My middle son is sensitive to loud noises, but due to the construction of the range and viewing area, he is able to sit and watch others shoot without any discomfort. The Bullet Ranch offers week long summer camps for children throughout the summer months. The kids enjoy learning about firearm safety, pistol and rifle shooting, archery, map and compass reading, and shelter building. The staff incorporates the highest standards of safety with having fun and enjoying the camp. One of the perks of the camp is that all supplies to include safety gear, firearms, and ammunition is supplied. To say my boys enjoyed the camp is an understatement! The shooting range includes 10 lanes, with an adjustable target carrier length of up to 75 feet. Each lane is well lit, with its own adjustable overhead lighting. Unlike other indoor ranges I have been to, the floor is kept clean of spent casings and paper waste. Trash cans are readily available and in over two years I have never seen an over-full trash can. The staff is very conscious of the range cleanliness and operation. A big plus that initially drew us to the Bullet Ranch is the ladies only classes. Unfortunately there is still a huge stigma towards first time female shooters. My wife, who is a seasoned shooter, and a few of her friends who are new to the shooting world have taken some of these classes. Not only did they learn invaluable skills, but the training environment was very un-intimidating due to the fact that the NRA certified instructors were all women as well. This made it very comfortable for first time shooters. My two older boys, ages 10 and 15 have taken the youth firearms training courses, and the NRA Youth Marksmanship Program offered at the Bullet Ranch. As expected they had a great time, enjoyed every minute of it, and always look forward to going back. Many children can become gun shy if they feel like they are being “forced” into the world of shooting. I can honestly say, “Not at this range”. Eye and hearing protection sized for children is readily available for those that do not bring their own. The firearm, ammunition, and accessories offered at the store is diverse, and competitively priced. Rifle and pistol rental is also available to those that do not own their own firearm, or wish to try something different. It’s a plus to me that I can walk in the store, complete a little paperwork, and be able to enjoy some “gun therapy” without having to bring my own firearm, ammunition, targets, or safety gear. It can all be provided with the rental. Lastly, and in my opinion the most important part of this review is the customer service. Unlike other ranges and stores throughout Ohio, the Bullet Ranch is very relaxed and friendly. Every staff member, and I mean every staff member is very well versed in their job. Steve, Jerry, Roy, Jake, George, and Sara are just a few of the staff that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. They all will go out of their way to answer any questions and assist with any customer needs. Additionally, several of the staff come from a LE or Military background. As a Military Vet, this just adds to the friendly atmosphere of the store. Having knowledgeable male and female staff members with diverse backgrounds and personalities brings a level of comfort to customers that may prefer to interact with only certain staff members.

The Bullet Ranch is a great place to go for all your firearm needs. Their gunsmith is very knowledgeable as well as friendly. If you have your firearm worked on they try their best to give you an upfront price BEFORE doing any work. The staff is amazing. I feel like I am part of the family every time I go in for any reason. The place is always very clean and organized. I visited Ohio Valley, Aim Hi, and LEPD ranges before going to The Bullet Ranch and they impressed me more than all the others I had been to. The range is clean, very well ventilated, and always getting improvements (Painting the walls, floors, and equipment). The range is very up to date and very safe. There arent any employees stationed on the range, because they screen people well, and well its just not needed. They do go out to the lanes with you your first time to get you aquaited to the lanes and the rules to ensure your comfortable and everyones safety, because safety comes first. I liked The Bullet Ranch so well I am a member and have taken others with me that are now members as well. I took my CCW class there and it was very well done and professional. I have talked up the class so much that I think I have had at least 10 people mostly from my Church also take the class. Most of which were woman and they said they thought it would be a bit intimidating, but they were very happy with the class and staff. I have bought many things there including firearms and the process was made very smooth. They offer a summer camp for children that I think is an awesome idea. I love going in and having the staff call me by name. There just are not many businesses you can say that about now days. Do not think twice about The Bullet Ranch, just go and enjoy yourself and discover what a real small town American small business is all about.

I like this store and will continue to do business with them. However DO NOT buy from their online store if you want it in a reasonable amount of time. The online store does not represent what TBR has in stock. I placed my order Tues the 13th. 10 days later Im out $500 with no gun. Read all the terms and conditions on the site about online ordering before you order!. I was supposed to pick it up today but was told by the sales person that even if it comes in I cant pick it up until they check it in etc. etc. And that they will call when its ready. If you dont mind waiting for a unspecified ridiculous amount of time then go ahead. The price was great!!! Seriously great. Unfortunately still no gun. Tomorrow maybe? Its tomorrow and I picked up my rifle today. The people there are helpful and professional. Thats why I will always do business with The Bullet Ranch. Ill just come in and buy my gun. This purchase turned out to be worth the wait. Great gun at a great price.

Not the best customer service experience to be had. Prices higher than competition, both box stores and local small businesses. Have had personal experience in the past with personal property being left behind, confirmed over the phone with the staff that it was there and in lost and found. Upon returning to collect my item, the staff says they dont have item they confirmed prior. After 3 different interactions about this incident, it was never addressed. Success in gun business is heavily based on service reputation and honesty, I dont care to do business with a company that is comfortable allowing a customer to leave questioning their integrity in either area.
